Reality Check

Amelia and Rebekah were smiling and laughing as they were walking slowly back to the entrance when suddenly they heard yelling, but they just sighed as they entered the mansion and walked to the living room, where Klaus, Kol, and Elijah were.

"And here I thought we have only one child," Klaus and Kol both looked at Rebekah, not particularly happy by her comment. "Oh shut it." But she just rolled her eyes as both she and Amelia sat on the couch.

"Anyways, I was thinking-" but before she could even say what was on her mind she was interrupted by Kol. "Well that's a first, do tell us what is going on in that head of yours, oh wait I just remembered, I don't care."

"Oh shut up Kol, I don't remember asking for your irrelevant opinion." Kol just rolled his eyes as he took the glass that was filled with bourbon and took a sip of it.  "Anyway I was thinking we should make a change, after all, we have been here almost for 2 years, and it would be nice going back, you know to Mystic Falls."

The same moment Kol heard those words he started choking on the bourbon and everyone looked at him. "What? You are insane!" He put the glass on the table in front of him as he stood up and looked at his sister.

"I am not going there, nobody is going there for that matter." Rebekah just gave him a disapproving look as she crossed her hands across her chest. "Do I look like I care what do you want me to do? Do you really think that you are going to forbid me from doing something? And why the hell don't you want to go back?" 

He sighed not knowing what to say, he couldn't exactly tell them the real reason he didn't want for them to go back, after all, he did promise to Bonnie he will not be coming back, but he had a feeling he won't be able to keep his end of the promise.

"No particular reason, I just don't want to go back. Why the hell do you want to go back?" She just rolled her eyes, not satisfied by his pathetic excuse. "Why not? Do you really think that Hope could have a normal life here? And Amy has finally gone back there and is now living there, so why the hell not?"

Klaus just sighed as he leaned back, "we're not going back because you are bored." Rebekah rolled her eyes at her brother, "rude. Yo-" but before Rebekah could say anything she would come to regret Amelia interrupted her.

"Come on Klaus, like I heard there is nothing left for any one of you, and I also heard half of the city hates you." At that moment Kol snorted as he said, "more like the whole city, but continue." Amelia just softly smiled and shook her head as she continued talking.

"And wouldn't it be nice to go back to Mystic Falls? Hope could grow up in peace, without daily death threats." Klaus just chuckled as he looked at his sister with disapproval. "Good try Rebekah, but we are not leaving New Orleans, no matter what."

"But-," before she could even give an argument Klaus interrupted her, "I said no and it is not up for negotiation, this debate is over and I don't want to hear a word about it." Amelia looked at Rebekah with a look that said, 'I told you,' but Rebekah just softly smiled as she looked at her brother.

"You wouldn't go back huh? Not even for Caroline? Don't think you have fooled anyone, because you didn't. We all heard the talk you had with dear Cami, how you are still in love with Caroline, and how you only want her." Klaus gritted his teeth as he stood up and in the next second, Rebekah felt a sharp pain in her back as she was pushed against a wall.

Klaus held her by the neck and it was obvious he was furious. "Oh look at that, it looks like I hit the nerve, who would have thought that. How predictable of you." Amelia just sighted at their childish behavior as she stood up and walked to Klaus and Rebekah.

"Can you both stop!" She put her hand on top of Klaus's and looked at him warningly, "let her go." But he didn't even move his hand as he looked at her, "or you are going to do what?"
