Akame was probably the best match I could get, she was a very stealthy ninja who could hide her presence easily, she was very agile and she was a quick thinker.

I had a few things that put me above Akame, although we were pretty evenly matched. The first thing would be my Sharingan, I would be able to read her movements. We're also evenly matched in speed, but if we got into a sword fight I'm better at wilding swords so it would be more likely that I would win.

The Hokage gave us a month to prepare for the final round of the Chuunin Exams, what I thought was strange is that it was different from the final round in the anime. Instead of it being multiple matches you only fought one person. Depending on the test-takers performances, the two of them can be promoted, neither can be promoted, or one of them can be promoted.

This allowed me to focus only on what would put me at an advantage against Akame. I figured she would try to avoid close combat with me, so she would most likely use her senbon, kunai, and shuriken. It was also likely that she would try to set traps while attacking, the good thing is I would be able to see through it with my sharingan and hopefully avoid getting caught in it.

I met up with Itachi and Shisui, I had asked them to train me if I passed the second stage of the Chuunin exams. I told them about Akame and her fighting style and we all strategised ways for me to beat her.

Since we all agreed that she would try to use long distance attacks I had to come up with a way to counter them. I would be able to see them with my Sharingan, but coming up with a way to counter them in such a short time would be hard. Obviously, I could just deflect the attacks, but then I would be constantly stuck on the defensive.

For the remainder of the month I trained everyday with Itachi and Shisui, the training was very intense. It was the day before the exam and Itachi had told me to rest and regain my chakra that I had lost over the month.

I partially ignored their advice and began to walk around the village, I figured while I was out that I should grab some dango for Itachi and I to share. On my way to the shop I saw Naruto being harassed by the villagers, I was debating whether to step in to not and, eventually, I decided to interfere.

Naruto was looking at a mask that resembled the ones the ANBU wore, the shop keeper was disgusted by Naruto arrival and decided it was a good idea to throw the mask at his face. Like a normal, rational adult would do.

When he threw the mask at Naruto I threw a kunai at the mask and, instead of hitting Naruto in the face, it was speared into the ground. The shop keeper thrashed his head towards my direction.

"You better pay for that missy!" He insisted

"How come? It obviously means nothing to you since you just threw it at a harmless child's face." I replied, bored. Haaaaah, I just wanted some dango.

"I- W-Well-" I cut him off mid-sentence.

"He's not harmless! He's a monster!" One of the ladies in the crowd, oh so Kindly, pointed out.

"Really? A monster? That's your reason for constantly harassing him, isolating him? He's a monster? What about you, hm? All the adults in the village tormenting a six year old child and then proceed to call HIM the monster, it's pathetic if you ask me." The crowd quickly quietened down after my sudden outburst. I looked towards Naruto and walked over to him.

"Hey again," I smiled, he giggled and replied

"Hey! Y/N-chan, right?" I softly nodded my head.

I helped him escape the crowd of angry villagers and brought him to the dango shop with me. I bought a plate of dango for him, a plate of dango for myself, and a take-out box of dango for Itachi.
