Building Hacks: Tips for Building a Modern House

Technically, I am kind of using my friend's ideas, so give @queenyhart123 the credit for #s 1 and 2 pt. 2. She also has an Adopt Me story here on good old Wattpad. I recently got the Futuristic house and I hired two builders. I want a cool modern style, and I'll tell you how to achieve a modern aesthetic, while still being yourself.
1. Typical modern houses in Adopt Me usually have a color scheme of black and white, with some accent colors like green, brown, grey and gold.
2. The bamboo plants give character to a room. It especially work in the bathroom.
3. For walls and floors, the white bricks for walls and plain black floors are a good way to go.
4. For a child and/or pet room, you can design for boys or girls. For girls, do pink walls with a light grey accent wall, and light carpet. For boys, do blue walls with the same grey accent wall. You can choose accessories accordingly. One thing that can make a room a lot more fun, is putting large ramps on opposite walls connecting to the ceiling. It gives a room and attic feel, and what kid doesn't want an attic bedroom? It's like a treehouse! You can use bricks to build shelves, and to make a loft.
5. Speaking of lofts, you can connect bricks to float off the ground. This would be a perfect area for an office, or pet area.

Now I will talk about building hacks. These are fun, and add mysteries to your home.

1. One idea is to put a couch inside of a bed to when you sit on the couch, it looks like you're sitting on the bed.
2. (My personal favorite) Another cool thing is putting a water cooler inside of your fridge so it looks like you're getting water from the fridge.
