Crow had slumped on the cafe table Jack had been sat at, toying with the coffee spoon and spinning it around to cup without care. He didn't even like coffee, and especially didn't like the cost. But he was torn with confusion and stress - confusion over Jack's weird phone call escapade, and stress about revealing his bromance with added romance to the rest of their close friends.

But all this was to be resolved.

His phone dinged with a text message, from Yusei. It simply stated;

Crow, I hope you're OK. I want to meet you at Martha's ASAP. Text when you're heading here.

Huh? Martha's? Why would Yusei suddenly want to go there and meet him?
Then again, maybe that was a good place for him and Yusei to talk privately, after all Martha was the first (and only) one Crow had told about his feelings for Yusei.

Now with even more confusion, Crow sent a message back and headed back to their garage home to get his bike ready. Notably, Jack and Yusei's vehicles were missing. Jack must've headed somewhere else, Crow gathered.
What was that phone call he had, then? Crow was beyond confused, but he was happy to be able to see Yusei after it all. Just seeing Yusei would calm Crow.
But it was not just Yusei.

When Crow skirted up to Martha's house, he didn't notice the many sets of eyes watching him through the windows. He didn't hear the scuffling of feet running to the door as he walked up to it, ready to knock.
He did not expect everyone he knew to be awaiting him as he opened that door, and as he opened that can of worms.

"CROW!!!" Was the echoed scream between the crowd of close friends that crammed into that hallway, piling on top to be able to greet Crow. Crow himself screamed and hurtled back onto the yard out of fright - confused fright.
But many hands, of varying sizes, reached out to pull him into the house. One hand was notable in that it wore a brown leather glove, and grabbed Crow's own hand tightly.

Yusei pulled Crow in close, clearing him out of the crowd and hiding him to the side of a wall.
"Crow, I'm glad you came quickly. And, sorry if this is overwhelming!"
He gave Crow a strong hug, leaning into his neck and pecking a kiss.
Crow inhaled after what seemed like years without breathing, and gripped Yusei's back tightly with his own slightly shaky hands.
"Y-Yus," he stuttered, glancing behind Yusei's spiky hair to see the crowd of people he could now recognise:
There was his fellow teammates, Aki and the twins, who all gleefully waved their hands in delight, and he noted Luna's "awe" face as she stared at their hug. There was Martha, and Blister too, as well as all the kids he had looked after, who all laughed and watched with joy. Rally and Yusei's group was there, as well as Kalin, who nodded at Crow. Jack was there with Carly, and he smirked as Carly excitedly took pictures of the couple ahead.

"Yusei... did you tell them all?" Crow was taken aback.
"Yeah, sorry for that but I knew it would be a stress to you, and I'd rather you enjoy our relationship without that stress. I love you and I want you to feel happy and calm."
Crow smiled out of pure joy, leaping at Yusei and kissing him fully on the lips.
Carly's camera went wild with pictures, and Jack poured as he begrudgingly watched the pair smooch and cuddle as if there was no tomorrow.
Crow's bundle of kids we're making "ewww" exclamations, stocking their tongues out, and Luna and a few other of the girls amongst Crow's lot were aweing in delight.

"Yus, I love you so much, I love you so, so much!"
Crow kept hugging as he spoke, gleeful at their comfortable relationship blossoming freely, with the awkward part now behind them.
Of course, Jack would still glare at them if they kissed around him, Carly would take every chance to get pictures of them as a couple (and Crow feared she may write an article about their relationship), and Crow's kids would definitely never stop mocking him for being in love.
But at least he and Yusei were free to be together, romantically entwined.

"Crow, I love you too. Bro."
The short vocative make Crow chuckle.
"Yeah, bro, I love you too, bro! After all, this whole things it's... It's totally a bromance! Right, Yus, my bro?"
The pair were chuckling at themselves, as they continued making flirty puns. The crowd watching were slowly losing all excitement with the barrage of bro-jokes (bro...kes?) but at least the smiles plastering Yusei and Crow's faces were worth all that painful, painful pun-ishment.

(Get it? Puns? PUN - ishment? Punishment? Ok, this fic is over after a year of hiatus. Was it worth it?
Totally?
Or, do you mean..:
BRO-tally?
