You ever have that feeling when you're on cloud nine and don't know when you'll come down? Or maybe that moment in your life when your dreams come true and you get the do what you've always wanted which only fills you with utter joy, confidence and excitement? How about that feeling you get in the pit of your stomach when you're so full of happiness you just might throw up? That's how I'm feeling in this moment right now. I'm frozen on my bed, completely in shock at the phone call I just had.

You see, I've been training to be a WWE Diva in NXT for three years now. I've been at the top. I've been at the bottom. I've been in the middle. Everyone has their chance to shine at some point but I've been on top for a full year now and it's finally paid off. Triple H gave me the call today. Just a moment ago actually. There was gonna be a room waiting for me at the hotel they were at, there was a riding buddy, or buddies, waiting for me and there was a spot on the roster just for me. There was only two things left to do. Tell my family and pack.

"Katie? You home?" I heard from my front door.

I shot up out of my bed and ran to the living room to see my aunt Lisa and Uncle Bill standing there with my youngest sister, Emmie, and my cousin, their daughter, Elena. "Oh my god.
Thank God you guys are here!" I exclaimed.

"What is it?" Uncle Bill asked as he stepped forward.

I smiled. "I just got the call up." I said.

He smiled and then picked me up off the ground in a huge hug as we both laughed in excitement. As soon as he put me down he smiled at me once more. "I'm so proud of you. You worked so hard for this and you deserve it." he said.

"Absolutely." Aunt Lisa chimed in with a smile of her own. "When do you leave?"

"Three days." I said. "I make my debut in four days."

"Have you called Taryn?" Emmie asked. Taryn is my other younger sister. Actually she's the middle child. But she wasn't here. She's a singer and has been out on tour for four weeks now. She's never been more happy than when she's on stage singing her heart out and I've never been more proud. My sisters are my best friends and we were very, very close. A bond we shared that could not be broken by anything or anyone.

"Not yet. I will though." I said. Emmie and Elena pulled me in for a group hug and then I looked at Uncle Bill. "So, any last minute advice?" I asked him.

"No. You got this. You don't need to do anything but be yourself and do what you love to do." he said.

"I wish mom and dad were here to see this." Emmie said with a sad face which only brought my mood down. Emmie didn't know much about our parents. The only she knows is what happened to them. I ten years old, Taryn was six and Emmie was three when our parents went missing. We were at the park with them one day and I remember my mom telling me how proud she was that I'd finally gotten the courage to go on the merry-go-round and my dad was watching Emmie and Taryn go down the slide. I'd shut my eyes and as soon as the merry-go-round had stopped, I looked for my parents but they weren't there. They were nowhere to be found. I'd found Taryn and Emmie and asked them if they saw where our parents went but they didn't know either. The three of us were stuck at that park by ourselves and no way to call anybody until a lady showed up with her daughter. I'd told her what happened with tears in my eyes and my sisters crying hard behind me. She'd called the police and we were taken to the station to answer questions. The officers were very nice to us and took care of us until they could get a hold of Uncle Bill and Aunt Lisa who came all the way to the station to pick us up. I remember that day very vividly. Aunt Lisa comforted me and my sisters while Uncle Bill questioned the police on their efforts to find his brother and sister-in-law. He was angry. He didn't know what was going on or where they would have went. My dad was pretty strong man so he was confused as to how anyone could have taken him. But there were thousands of possibilities. Like, if someone had threatened me and my sisters, that would be enough to get him moving without getting physical. Or threatening us and our mom. I don't know.
