Payback was successful. It was one great night. I retained my title with my uncle by my side. The Shield beat Evolution. It was a great night. But then Raw came around and Roman, Dean and Seth found out that they were starting a new story line. One where they wouldn't be together anymore. It took a bit to register that but by the end of Raw, it happened. Seth turned on Dean and Roman with a steel chair. The crowd really hated it but it was interesting to see where this was gonna go.

After that, Roman and I went back to my house in Oklahoma with uncle Bill. We had the rest of the week off and I was thankful for that. But I was also a little nervous about going back there. All Dakota's been playing so far are mind games but that could easily change now that we were at my house again. It just didn't sit well with me right now.

I woke up in my own bed wrapped in the arms of the man I love. I smiled as I looked out the window, the sun shining on us both just perfectly. This was going to be a good day. I was going to make sure of it. I didn't want anything to bring our mood down. The last time we were here, we got sucked into this drama with Dakota right away and we didn't even get to enjoy the rest of our time here. I was not going to let that happen this time.

I looked over at Roman who was still sleeping before I tip toed out of bed. I slipped on his shirt and then walked out of the bedroom. It felt good to be in my own home, able to walk around anywhere with nothing but my man's t-shirt on, and make breakfast for him. I sifted through the refrigerator and pulled out what I would need for breakfast. Pancake mix, milk, eggs, bacon. I pulled all of it out and got started. This felt good to me. To be able to do this for the man I love. It felt good. And it had my mood starting out wonderfully. I turned on some music and started dancing around as I cooked with a smile on my face. It was definitely gonna be a good day.

"What's going on?" Roman asked as he frantically walked out of the bedroom. The music must have startled him awake.

I looked over at him and smiled. "Breakfast."

He loosened up and walked over to me before pulling me into him gently. "Someone is very chipper this morning." he said.

"I'm just in a really good mood." I said.

"Even being back here and wondering what's gonna happen?" he asked.

"Don't." I said. "Don't ruin the mood by talking about him. I'm not gonna let him ruin today. I woke up next to an amazingly handsome man and I just feel so happy. So I wanted to do something nice for you. And it feels good to do it. So don't ruin it." I pressed my lips to his once and then smiled at him. "Today is gonna be a drama free, very happy, enjoyable day." I walked back over to the stove and finished cooking.

"Okay. I can do that." he said. He sat down on the opposite side of the island from me before grabbing a piece of cooked bacon. "So, what are you thinking?"

"I'm thinking, we have breakfast, maybe take a shower which might take a while if you know what I mean." I said. He smiled. "And then after that, we can go to the store and shop for your favorite meal because I want to cook for you tonight. And we have to go to the store anyway because uncle Bill and aunt Lisa are having a grill out this afternoon."

"Okay." he said.

"And Taryn's gonna be there so you finally get to meet her in person." I told him excitedly. I turned off the stove before giving Roman his food. I grabbed my plate and walked around to sit next to him but before I sat down, I wrapped my arms around him from behind until my lips were at his ear. "And I might even treat you to a massage later." I sat down next to him and smiled.

"Why are you trying to spoil me?" he asked.

"You went through a grueling match at Payback and then got beat with a chair Monday. I'm sure you're sore and I just wanna help nurse you back to health." I said. My face lit up. "Oh, maybe we can stop at the mall and I can pick up a nurse outfit."
