It had been three months since we finished the tour, we were back in our home in the US, living next door to The Sqwad who were well into doing their YouTube channel.
"Casey" I said tapping her on the shoulder.
"Yes babe" she smiled.
"Would you do the honours of joining me for dinner for two tonight?" I smiled.
"Of course I will" she smiled
"About 6pm then?" I smiled.
She glanced at the time, 4:30pm. "that will be fine, I will go and get ready now" she smiled and kissed me. She then left to fun next door to get ready.
I began to get nervous, Casey and I had been together again for nearly five months now, we were together for the two months of the US tour and then the three months up to now, and I had been planning this moment for the whole period of time.
I showered and laid out my smartest clothes on my bed, I couldn't choose. It was proving too difficult, my head was too busy thinking about the possibilities for things to go wrong tonight.
"Ashton!" I called out.
"Hello" he said as he entered my room
"I need help" I sighed.
He walked in and closed the door behind him, he walked over and sat down on the bed, inspecting the clothes.
He picked out an outfit and urged me to try it on. I picked up the clothes and began putting them on.
"Are you positive you're going through with this Michael?" He said.
"I'm 100% positive Ash, it's the right thing" I said, straightening my jacket. "This is a perfect outfit, thank you Ash" I smiled.
I checked the time, 5:55pm, I walked towards my bedroom door, "I need to go now" I sighed
"Good luck mate" Ashton smiled.
"You haven't told the boys have you, you kept your word and didn't tell anyone right?" I checked
"I promise you, no one knows okay? Just go!" He smiled.
"Thank you Ash, for everything. you've always been there to help Casey and I, and I don't say it often enough but, I love you man" I said, pulling him into a bro hug.
"Just go before you're late okay?" He laughed, "I love you too Michael"
I walked over and took a breath before knocking on the door.
She came out and she looked beautiful, she was wearing a blue dress which black shoes, and the princess tiara necklace I had bought her.
"You look beautiful Casey" I smiled, "let's go"
I led her to my car and we drove to the small restaurant I had reserved a table for.

The meal had been fantastic and we were just finishing up our dessert. I decided I had to do it now, or I would never ever do it. It was now or never.
"Casey" I began
"Michael" she smiled.
"I want to do something" I said
"And what might that be?" She giggled.
I stood from the table and knelt beside her, her eyes grew wide
"Michael what are yo-"
"Don't talk, just let me speak" I sighed. "Casey you're the most beautiful girl I've ever met, I'm only myself when I am around you. There's just something about you that has me hooked to you, I feel like when you're not here, a part of me is missing. You're my other half casey, and I know I've fucked up a whole lot in the past, and I mean a whole lot. But I love you, I will always love you. I've announced my love for you on live national television, I've written multiple songs, I've cried so many nights at the thought of never seeing you again. And I don't want to ever be like that again. I know it's early, but I want to do this now, so that I have you and I can't lose you, because I don't think I'll recover if you leave me again." I took a breath, looking at her glassy eyes, brimming with tears.
"So I will ask, Casey Martin, would you please, make me the luckiest man on the whole entire planet and marry me?"
