While walking over to Renjun's house she felt anxious, like he would hate her for coming back. That's not what she wanted, InHye didn't hate Renjun, she just wanted to distance herself.

Her feelings were getting in the way of that, she didn't like being separated from Renjun. This separation was to keep her out of the dangers of the society he was with. InHye's heart is telling her to stay with him, not matter what he's always got her back. Her head, on the other hand, is telling her to stay away, he could be lying to her.

The girl was stuck in a pit of confusion with her feelings, not even knowing how to escape. While caught in her thoughts, she almost bumped into someone.

"Oh- So sorry, I didn't mean to" She apologized very quickly, snapping out of her thought until she got to Renjun's house.

"Ok.. Ok... He's not going to kill you..." She breathed slowly in and out, in an attempt to calm her nervous self down. When she finally gathered herself up, InHye knocked on the door.

She waited there patiently until one of them came and opens the door.

"Oh.. Noona" Chenle didn't except InHye to be over, after what Renjun had said while the younger was tending his wounds. "Come in"

She carefully stepped into the house, taking her shoes off and putting it on the metal rack.

"Is Renjun here?"

"Yeah, he's upstairs in his room. Did Jeno-Hyung tell you?" Chenle went back to drinking his glass of water in the kitchen.

"Yeah... He did" InHye looked at her feet and she rocked back and forth on them. "I'll be going upstairs now"

Wanting to leave the awkward atmosphere, InHye quickly headed upstairs.

"His room is the the farthest one to the right!" Chenle shouted, you could hear the clattering of all the dishes once he put his one cup in the sink.

InHye, once again felt extremely nervous. "Should I knock on the door?"

The girl whispered to herself. Just as she was about to knock on it, the door hand opened up already.

"Renjun..." She stared right at him, and Renjun brown, puffy eyes, tried avoiding her gaze. "I'm sorry..."

"For...?"

"For leaving you all of a sudden, I must've really hurt you. I still don't want to stand by you and be your friend, because the mafia community isn't for me" InHye breathed slowly, holding Renjun's cheeks to make him face her. Then slowly letting go. "Let me see your hands"

"InHye, I-"

"Please let me see your hands" The girl slowly held his wrist, lifting it up. "There's so many bruises?"

"It's okay..."

"No, Jun-ah, it's not okay. If your hand in like this it isn't okay" InHye quickly dragged him back inside his own room, looking at damaged wall and gasping.

"You did that all...?" She pointed over to the grey wall, sitting down on his bed. Renjun just scratched the back of his neck, looking down at their hands. "Renjun, answer me"

"Y-Yeah... I did" Because InHye and Renjun weren't making eye contact again, she pushed his chin up slowly with two fingers. What she didn't know is that their faces would end up being very close to each other.

Renjun couldn't help but stare into her eyes, seeing her hazel pupils blink. No one had moved back, not even on centimeter. InHye realized that she was close to his face, slowly moving back.

"I'm... Sorry" She looked around, her eyes going everywhere but his. "Did Chenle already take care of your hand?"

"Yeah, yeah he did" Renjun wanted to stare back into her eyes, she wanted to see the white stars in her eyes again.

"Jeno told me to come over and-" As InHye's eyes were traveling around the room, Renjun scoot himself closer and placed his hands on her cheek.

"I missed you so much..." Renjun suddenly confessed, tears were welling up. "I missed more than anything in the world, please don't leave..."
