With his painting tools neatly placed on the small coffee table, Felix landed his butt on the chair. A faint smile decorated his lips even when he knew he would barely get customers like usual. But his little mind unconsciously did so; offering smile would not harm anyone, he believed.

The freckled boy just turned twenty last week. Ironically, it also marked one year since the last time he saw his parents; he was kicked out when he admitted he did not want to be a lawyer like them, but an artist instead.

Growing up under a stable and rich household, he succeeded to save huge amount of money on his own bank account which then helped him to rent a cheap but convenient apartment to stay and buy some monthly needs.

Unfortunately, it did not last long; he has been struggling financially in the past two months and during those times, he felt like he has chosen the obvious wrong choice.

"If only I listened, at least I would stay warm during winter and have a proper aircon during summer, I would have been hanging out with new friends instead of waiting for a customer. Scratch that, I wouldn't be wondering about what to eat if I stayed."

Heavy sigh left his mouth. His eyes were a little bit teary as regret consumed his mind. Thankfully, someone saved the day.

"Lixie~"

Felix instantly perked up. His eyes formed a crescent as he smiled widely. "Hyunjin hyung!"

"Sorry, I'm late!"

The younger just giggled. "You know, you don't have to come here every lunch only to accompany me."

"That's not your decision to make." He stuck his tongue out.

Felix and Hyunjin have known each other for four months now. The latter was actually Felix's regular customer. At first, he would ask him to make random paintings then proceed to pay him with not only money, but also friendly and fun companion. But as time went by, the older habitually spent his lunch time with him whenever he had schedules to teach, meaning they would not meet up on weekends.

"Is it good? Not too spicy?"

"It's delicious like usual." He smiled, yet there was a sad glint reflected on his eyes.

Truth be told, the freckled boy has fallen in love with the older since the first time they met. Not to mention the taller kept messing with his heart; sharing some lunch was something common, but feeding him? Hugging him? Pecking his cheeks? And even walking him home?

How come Felix could move on if the other was being so sweet to him all the time? And even when he knew the latter has already taken, his heart could not just stop loving him.

"Hyung?"

"Yea?"

"Won't your boyfriend get mad if he knew you shared your lunch with someone else?"

"He won't. Well... to be fair, he punished me once. But in the next morning, he asked me if I knew your favourite dish." He stated nonchalantly, not noticing the dreadful look on the other boy's face.

"Pu—punish you?" Felix apparently just caught the first two sentences and ignored the rest.

"Mm. I like it, though." He winked, making the younger blush as he finally figured out the hidden meaning.

Two weeks have passed since then; since the last time they met. Hyunjin has been crying for hours every day as he was beyond worried. How could he not? Felix suddenly disappeared and there was no trace of him. He was no longer coming to the park; the apartment he lived in has been rented by someone else; and even when he checked the grocery store he used to visit, the employees said they have not seen the younger as well in the past few days. So to say he was frustrated was an understatement.

"What if he was kidnapped, hyung?"

Minho just caressed his lover's back, trying to soothe the uneasy feeling. "They should call me today. Let's wait, yeah?"

The older actually paid some sort of private investigator to find a missing person a week ago. But since the information about the freckled boy was very little and limited, it took a while for them to be able to find him.

Hyunjin—who previously lay his head on the older's lap—moved his bigger body to sit there, making himself smaller while snuggling onto his lover's neck and breathing in the fresh musk scent. He sighed contentedly when he found his nerves started to calm down almost immediately.

As if on cue, Minho's phone went off. He could feel the expectant look reflecting on his boyfriend's eyes.

"Is it them?" He asked once his lover ended the call.

Minho nodded. "Let's get our kitten home."

It was Thursday, 5 in the evening, when they finally found Felix. It took almost two hours for the couple to arrive.

As soon as Hyunjin saw the sight of the freckled boy, he strode toward him. He actually almost sent the other boy onto the concrete ground behind him as he lunged himself to hug him. Thankfully, Minho grabbed his lover's shirt and successfully held them from falling.

Felix pulled his lips into a thin line, nibbling on the lower part rather anxiously. It was so intense and awkward at the same time, making him wondering why he easily agreed with the suggestion offered by his friend. But then again, he was in need to have a safer place to stay, which obviously he did not get in the past two weeks.

He gulped, ready to utter at least some gratitude statements to the couple for the generous offer. But deep inside, he knew he could not stay there.

"You can stay." Minho beat Felix to it, as if he could read his mind. "Actually, no. You should stay." The dominant tone he used made it sound like the freckled boy did not have other choices but to accept, or else he would be in a big trouble.

"O-okay. Thank you, sunbae."

"I think it's better for you to stay with Hyunjin too. He hasn't got proper sleep these days... I'll sleep in the other room."

With that, Minho left.

"Are you sure he isn't mad, hyung? He kind of looked mad."

"He isn't, so loosen up a little." Hyunjin answered then hovered over the younger only to plop his body right on top of the other's, earning a strangled yelp. "Minho hyung can look cold at times, but he's actually a caring person."

"But hyung..."

"What is it, Lixie? Spill it!"

"Did he know about... us? Like we spend time during your lunchtime and you walk me home... things like that?"

The older nonchalantly hummed, too lazy to respond as he only wanted to cuddle and breathe in the younger's scent.

"Maybe he's mad at me because of that!"

Hyunjin could not help but let out a chuckle. "You're worrying too much, Lixie... If he's mad at you, he wouldn't have agreed to help you. He wouldn't even ask you to be here with me."

"... You got a point."

"Now, just let me cuddle you. I've missed you for so long now." He pouted, giving the freckled boy a pleading look.

Letting his worry to evaporate, he finally could drift off to sleep with Hyunjin spooning him from behind minutes later. But Felix was a light sleeper. So when the door opened, he found himself half asleep. His body then slightly tensed when he realized his friend was still spooning him, so it only led his mind to the other option; Minho was inside the room.

And what he did not expect to happen was to get a pair of lips gently pecked his forehead.
