Virgil wasn't usually the one to do something stupid that was usually Patton or Roman's job but here he was, he had locked his door and then he tripped causing the key to fall out of his hands and under the door. His phone pay charging on the table that was also not in his room.
He was trapped.
The newly found light side climbed onto his bed his worries clouded his mind, they will never find you, you will die in here, you're trapped forever.
Nobody was with him when it happened so when they got back they wouldn't know where to look for him seen as the mind palace is so large, he just wanted to be with anyone: Princy, Patton, Logan even Remus or Janus he just can't be alone.
His tears and light sobs masked that the Prince had found the key until there was new light from outside on his face which had fresh tears threatening to spill, his eyes red and puffy. Before Roman could even comprehend what was happening he was tackled into a bone crushing hug.
Staring down at Virgil he then let himself figure out what had happened and sighed, he hugged the smaller side back and led him to where Patton and Logan had just entered.
