Chapter 3.

When I walked in, I was greeted by Petunia.
"Aww! Come here Petunia!" I said.
"Wait how do you know her name?" Luke asked me.
"Well didn't I tell you that I was a fan of you guys?"
Luke nodded.
"Phea, do you wanna see your room?" Sierra asked.
"Sure!" I said while getting up from petting Petunia.
"Follow me!" She said.
We got to my room, it was much bigger than my old one. "Wow..!" I gasped,
"I know right!" She clapped her hands together in joy.
"Tomorrow we will go shopping and pick out things for your room!"
"Wow.. thank you so much!" I said. Sierra pulled me in for a hug. I hugged her back. I walked in the room and just took it all in, this was my new life. I sat my backpack on the bed, the bed was a California King. I was living like a queen. I decided to change into some more comfortable clothes, a yellow oversized hoodie and some spandex shorts. I walked out of my room and looked around. Damn, this house was huge.
"Hey! I like your hoodie!" Luke said.
"Thank you..!" I said
"Hey, hold on I have a gift for you!" Luke said while walking to the table. He grabbed a box that was wrapped, and handed it to me.
"Open it!" He squealed
"Okay..!" I slowly started to open the wrapping paper, I'm that one person who tries to open the present without ripping the paper. When I was done opening it, The box was for an iPhone 11 pro, my eyes widened, I opened the lid, and there it was,
"W-wow! Thank you so much!"
"You're welcome! Now that's the first of many gifts, this first year with us will be odd, but hopefully you'll get used to it by then!" Luke said happily.
"Yeah, first. How do I announce this to the fans?"
"Wait you're still part of the band?" I asked.
"Yeah! I think you're old enough to stand the fame that comes with this?" Luke said.
"I uh, I have no idea."
"Trust me, we will keep you safe!"
"Okay.." I said, suspicion was building up in my stomach, but I ignored it. I knew if they meant harm that I could do terrible things to their fame.
"I'm gonna go to my room and set up my phone." I stated,
"Okay dinner will be ready in about 2 hours!" Sierra smiled. I nodded at her and walked off into my room. I jumped onto the bed and started setting up my new phone, once I was done. I grabbed a piece of paper from the printer on my desk and sat down. I grabbed a pencil and started to draw. Drawing was one of my best talents, I was always confident in my art. I ended up drawing a girl sitting in a field, staring at the stars. The sketch looked amazing, I was debating on coloring it or just leaving it black and white, but my thoughts were interrupted when I heard a knock on my door.
"Yes?"
"Can I come in?" Luke said.
"Yeah, come on in!" I welcomed. He entered the room and his eyes immediately flew to my newly drawn sketch,
"Did you draw that..?" He asked, walking closer to my desk.
"Yes I did!" I said with pride.
"Woah, that's amazing! You're so talented!
"Thank you!"
"Anyway, tomorrow we're gonna go to a furniture store to buy you some extra things to spice up your room!" Luke said.
"Oh cool! That seems fun!" I said
"Anyway," Luke said while walking to sit on my bed, he grabbed my pillow and hugged it, "I know how much pressure you could have for being Luke Hemmings's adopted daughter, but I have an idea."
"What's your idea?"
"We give you 3 months to settle in, and then we announce you to the public! Obviously you'd meet the rest of the band who will keep it a secret."
"That's a good idea! I like it a lot!" I said
"Okay! Anyway It's around 7:30, the boys will all be here soon. They have been dying to meet you!"
"Oh that's amazing!" I said.
"I think they'd like to see your art!" He smiled.
"Maybe, but knowing me Id make it awkward." I laughed.
"Trust me, they're awkward too, especially Calum."
"I guess."
"Also, the fans will love you." He reassured
"Okay, I hope so.."
"Hey, is there anything you wanna share about yourself? Like anything I should know..? I just want you to feel safe here, and I want you to trust us." He said..
"I mean.. there's a lot I could tell you." I said.
"Here, let's start off easy. How long were you in the orphanage for?"
"Six years." I said,
"Damn, that's quite a long time." He said
"Yeah, you can ask me more questions if you'd like!" I said.
"Is there anything that is unique about you that some people don't necessarily accept?"
"Well yes, I am bisexual, an atheist, and that's really it."
"Well just to let you know, Sierra is bisexual too. So no need to worry!" He said
"Hey, thank you for being accepting, that really means a lot." I said while getting up from my chair, I walked over and hugged Luke, he was shocked, but he hugged back.
"Phea, I know it seems soon, but I love you with all my heart, I hope you know that." Luke said. I was shocked, I really haven't been told those words before, but I loved him before he even loved me.
"I love you too." I said
