Of course he was scared; he was terrified, horrified, frightened, afraid - he was all of the above and more. There wasn't much more to it, but would he show his fearfulness to Kierra? Of course not. Turning to her with a sigh, he rolled his eyes, "C'mon, Kierra, I'm not scared. Maybe you are and you're only expecting everyone else around you to be entirely terror - stricken, shaking in their shoes, but I'm not. Being left for dead isn't the worst thing I've gone through." Once the words flowed out of his mouth he realized what he had said.

Left for dead.

Was I? Shut up, Xander! Listen to yourself! You aren't left for dead, Raina wouldn't do that to you! .. since when did you have so much faith in a Human, one that was in charge of your torture, none the less, he growled inwardly, hating himself for showing so much affection for the stalky girl. Dragging his gaze to Kierra who had stared at him with what looked like sympathy, he grew a bit agitated towards her want to give him sympathy. He didn't want anyone's sympathy. Especially not hers. Watching her draw a breath, he knew what that meant. Most of the time when she drops some Earth shaking one - liner she takes in this big breath and it was annoying him - she was annoying him.

"You seemed scared when I found you." she spoke, tone prominent as if she was delivering a speech to the world that everyone had to hear. Expression locked on irritation and arrogance, he glared at Kierra, though he knew that she was right. What a strange thing that is. You think you wouldn't mind if you have to die, and then when death is staring you in the face you run as fast as you can in the opposite direction when two minutes before you shrugged at the idea of someone finding your mauled and lifeless body. "Well, you seemed scared when you found me, and you weren't the one about to die." he smarted back and that hardly did anything to her.

She scoffed. "Of course I was scared! Someone was dying! Don't you get the seriousness of it? Everyone should be scare when they run into another person dying. They should be scared and trying all they could do to prevent that person from dying! Don't you get that, Xander?" she asked, her tone coated with a hidden sadness.

After a few quiet moments, Xander snapped. He couldn't do this. He couldn't that this constant pestering idiot. "Leave." he demanded, pointed his finger out of the cave. "What? Why?" she stammered out, the strong and radiant smell coming off of her made of fear. "You heard me. Leave. Don't come back, either." he continued, beginning to stand up and push her out. "But, you can't do this! I'll die!" she screamed, trying his best to push against him, but it wasn't even budging him. "Then you should've thought about that before you did.. well, this! Learn to listen to others when they tell you to shut up, or leave for example, m'kay? Good."

The young girl was now standing outside, a soft flow of snow from above falling around her. She looked speechless, her gray blue eyes looking into his own brown ones. "I was wrong.. I thought everyone would care, but appearantly it's everyone minice one. You're a.. a monster." she spoke with a quivering lip, arms folded over her midsection. "I don't even know which way the town is!" With a roll of his eyes, Xander stepped from the cave and climbed upon the small hill it was in, looking quite strange as he whiffed the air. Pointing north, he smiled before getting back down. "What the hell was that?" she questioned. "I told you to leave, and I gave you directions. So leave." She began to take a large breath and Xander shook his head, "No, okay, no. You are not going to say one more word or I might just kill you. I cannot handle the sound of your annoying voice for one more minute."

Seconds later, she had left from the direct sight from the mouth of the cave. Finally, silence. he thought as he laid back, and that's when he realized how deafening silence was. He hated to admit it, but he was actually beginning to miss her already and it's been what? A few minutes. The constant flow of questions did get annoying, but everyone had their flaws. He knew he should go and get her, but he fought te urge and closed his eyes, hoping he would fall asleep. In the end, he actually did manage to slip into a restless sleep.

Unknown of how much time at past, he woke up with a jolt to the sound of a high pitched scream for his name. Eyebrows creased, he managed to yank himself from the rocky ground and poke his head outside. Then it happened again, someone was screaming for his name: Kierra. "Shit.." he growled under his breath before high tailing it out of his shleter and into the direction her scream for help had erupted.

The next scream had been cut off in the middle, like something had stopped her. Pushing himself harder, he weaved through the dormant plants, every once in a while reaching a patch of evergreen trees that made it more difficult to navigate. Stopping in the middle of an empty field, he spun on his heel quickly when he heard a shuffle in the trees behind him. "Kierra?!" he yelled between gasps for breath, twisting again when more soft sounds bristled behind him. Trying to even out his breathing, he shut his eyes and focused, trying to search for any sign of her - scent, maybe the sound of her heart, anything.

Hearing a heartbeat, he didn't waste anytime trailing after it. He had to pause every once in a while to continue tracking it, but then he finally reached who the heartbeat had belonged to. Eyes narrowed and nostrils flared, he let out a growl like noise to announce his presence.

The short girl calmly turned to face him, the large bubbly jacket defining her face. She turned around with her signature sweet smile.

"Ah, Bambi."
