The meeting - Mano x Reader

You have been dating Mano for a about two and a half years but you never really meet his parents and that was exactly what was going to happen just before the Seoul Homestand. You were unsure of what to feel about meeting his parents, should you be excited? scared? both? Well whatever you were feeling you sure didn't know what it was.

You and Mano were driving to his hometown to meet with his parents back at their house. You had barely gotten any sleep the night before your emotions had gotten the better of you and you started to wish you got sleep because of how down right tired you were from the lack of sleep. Mano took a quick glance over to you to see how you were doing and he couldn't help but notice your fidgeting. 

"Hey, you okay?" Mano asked clearly worried about you as he always was.

"I don't know, guess I'm just nervous about meeting your parents..." You said with a sigh and you looked out the window.

"Don't be they'll love you I've told my parents a little bit about you and so far they do" Mano said taking your hand and holding it.(A/N: this boi is now driving with one hand skillz bro skillz)

"If you say so, I really do hope that your right though" You said

When the two of you arrived his parents had come outside to greet the both of you. Mano went over and hugged his parents who were happy to return it. You had followed behind Mano and once he was done hugging them you gave a polite and respectful bow.

"So  your Y/N so its do good to finally meet the person who's making my sons like a thousand times better!" Ms.Kim said giving you a grateful smile 

"Indeed please come inside, Donggyu is already inside" Mr.Kim said and followed his wife inside the house.

When you stepped inside you saw Mano was in the living room talking with his dad. You were unsure of what to do before you felt a friendly little tap on your shoulder you turned around to see Ms.Kim.

"While the two boys are talking why don't you tell me a little bit about yourself?" Ms.Kim asked you and you couldn't say no because you would feel bad.

"Sure! I guess I can start with where I was born, I was born in Y/H(Your hometown) and I have been playing Overwatch since season 1." You said.

"That's nice, yea once Overwatch came out Donggyu would play it as often as he could. So when or how did you meet him?" She asked a question that you were expecting and you couldn't help but smile a bit.

"Well I actually meet Donggyu when I joined the New York Excelsior we didn't starting dating till about a year or so after I joined when he had asked me out which may or may have not taken a little bit longer for him to do than expected" You said laughing a little and you heard Ms.Kim laugh a bit as well.

You had gotten to learn more about Mano's parents during dinner which consisted of multipule different dishes such as Kimichi, Soft tofu stew, Tteokbokki, and some other dishes. After dinner you and Mano said your goodbyes to his parents and headed back to the hotel you and the rest of the NYXL were staying at.

"See I told you my parents would love you!" Mano said gleefully.

"I guess you were right now that is one parental meeting down, now it's your turn to meet my parents" You said giving a small giggle.

 "yyyyaayyyy god now I'm nervous" Mano said and he gave a small pout.

You ruffled his hair a little bit and then said "Don't worry we still need to figure out a time and date for that one so don't be to worried you still have sometime".

Mano laughed a bit "I guess your right" he said quickly fixing his hair a little bit and quickly flashing you a smile.
