Prayag was a small beautiful village in Uttar pradesh with an average population of 300 villagers nearly.
The village had a prosperous environment because most of the people were engaged in farming and dairy production. But this wasn't the only factor that made this village well known. It was also known for it's blue watered river that was very rare to find in this 21st century.

In this village lived a boy named Devrath, a tall 18 year old teen, who lived with his mother Sumati. He was very rebellious and too dynamic as compared to other boy's of his age group. He was well qualified and didn't show any special interest in earning like most friends did. Devrath choosed short struggle of travelling, 35 kilometres to study in the nearest university from his village named 'Sagar Mahavidyalaya', he was very fond of going to college as he was a part of youth party and also a well known personality in his college and why not?,

Devrath was a multi-talented, thoughtful and also a kind hearted person, with a cold hearted thought process for himself. He would cry a river over serials but wouldn't shed tears on funerals. He had a weird habit of visiting shamshan ghat, Whenever someone was taken there for cremation and he didn't shared this with anyone he knew.

Devrath's nature didn't develop over night , It all started when at the age of 10 his father Pandit Vishnuyash passed away and no one told him, what happened to his father, when he tried calling his dead body, but was not answered from his 'Baba' .Then after, he enjoyed his free time sitting near the river and have a self time.It were chilling winter days, Devrath after coming from college had a fixed routine of going to river coast and sitting under his favorite peepal tree, to watch sunsets without fail, just to remember everything good about his father, that he could recollect from the stories his mother narrated to him. Whenever he missed his father, who was a very well know astrologer and a learned pandit died 10 years ago untimely because of a snake bite. Devrath's mother never wanted him to continue the legacy and so she motivated him to go to the university and study. She always feared about dev's increasing engagements with people's personal problems and also,
how his solutions were actually practical for his friends and some of the villagers. His over helpful nature and sensitive mind made her restless sometimes.

One such evening there was something unusual was happening , It was too much stormy and due to sunset the water looked orange coloured, the sound of waving trees felt soothing yet mysterious.
"Mom I'm going out, I'll be back in 30 minutes " Dev said (while walking out of the door.)

"Beta, it's too stormy outside, stay home and help me in kitchen today." his mom replied.
(After stepping out and shouting from a bit far)
"I'll be back in sometime, don't worry maa. " he shouted.

(As he walked between the forest, his hairs unlike a movie scene started waving in air and his eyes became timid due to storm. He sat near the river and now the storm was stopped. He saw the sunset and enjoyed the beautiful breeze that was touching his face constantly. One of the main reasons to go in the evening was because of his smoking habit, that only some of his peers knew. He thought of quitting it but unlike every smoker, he gave himself a trauma and a victim tag, how underprivileged he was and how smoking was a stress reliever for life issues.

"I should get back home now it's already too late." Dev said to himself while crushing the left over cigarette under his shoes.

As he started walking towards his house, he suddenly saw a bright light flashing in front of him and making his vision blur. He was struggling but he could barely see anything. As soon as his vision got clearer, he saw a well built old man with loose skin but an with an unusual glow on his face and, a arched posture. He seemed as fearless lion, without a crown and well crafted facial attributes, with white long beard and orange half shoulder monk clothes. Devrath could barely understand anything and suddenly the old man called his name with his thundering voice.
