HOLY CRAP THIS BOOK IS AMAZING! The only bad thing is that the author is absolutely evil. Also, it's super long, and took a bit to read, but other than that, definitely one of my favorite books.
The story is about a girl growing up in WWII. It is told in the POV of death, and is sure to make you cry. I read it recently and am still trying to recover.
They did a horrible job with the movie though. Don't watch the movie.
