"Hola, Mila." She closed her locker and saw Valerio leaning against the wall. She walked over to him and crossed her arms "Que quieres?" Valerio smirked "How do you know Diego?" Mila dropped her arms "I don't know what you're talking about." Valerio laughed "Of course you do. I know there's something between the two of you. So... what is it?" Mila sighed "We use to meet up. No big deal." Valerio shrugged "It is a big deal if you have mutual feelings for each other." Mila scoffed "What makes you think we have mutual feelings for each other?" Valerio moved closer to her "I saw how close you were last night. It definitely wasn't nothing." Valerio walked away and Mila rolled her eyes.
She walked towards Lu who was looking through her locker. "Hey, Lu." She closed her locker and grabbed Mila's hand "I'm going to Cayetana's house tonight, and you're coming with me." Mila frowned "Who?" Lu rolled her eyes "Cayetana! She's the new girl. We'll go over, have a few drinks, get to know her. Plus she lives on her own." Mila sighed "Fine, I'll be over at four." Lu hugged her and smiled "Can't wait!" She walked off and Mila sighed in annoyance.

Mila arrived home and walked to the living room. Her mother was watching the news. She planned on walking behind her mother and hug her, but caught eyes with a boy and a woman, sitting on the sofa. "Hey, cariño. How was school?" Mila smiled "It was great." Alba stood up and pointed to the unfamiliar faces "This is Antonio and Ester Verdugo. Antonio will start in Las Encinas in a couple of days." Mila walked over to the two and shook their hands "Pleasure to meet you both." Antonio's mother stood up and smiled "Alba's told us so much about you. You're a gorgeous young lady." Mila blushed "Thank you so much." Antonio stood up and put his hand on his mother's shoulder "We better leave. It was nice meeting you, Mila." She smiled and they both walked out of the house.
