"Yesterday, the school established a study program with Columbia University in New York that guarantees acceptance to that school.
The program and tuition will be fully funded.
Candidates will present individual academic projects by the end of the year, and the winner..."
"Who's funding this?" Azucena looked at Samuel "A generous sponsor. As I was saying..."
"This happened yesterday? Because I saw Polo's mother in your office yesterday." Mila frowned at Samuel's words. She crossed her arms and waited until only a few members of the class were left."Look...if Polo's mom's publishing house wants to sponsor it, so what? You're always..." Samuel shook his head at Cayetana "They've already bought you off. Not the rest of us."
Nadia faced away from Samuel "They don't need to buy us off. Polo was released." Samuel stood up and scoffed "You want to take the scholarship without feeling guilty, right?"
Guzmán then stepped forward "If Nadia wants to apply for that scholarship, that's her business. Maybe we should all put this behind us." Mila stood up and her eyes widened "I can't believe this. You actually wanna take his side?" Guzmán crossed his arms "I do actually." He then turned to Samuel "I believed you, but the court didn't. I believed you over my friend Polo, my best friend since we were kids. Maybe I fucked up again. Drop it already." Mila ran her hands through her hair as she thought about Guzmán's opinion. She stood up and strutted outside of the classroom.

Mila stepped into Guzmán's house and saw Polo wrapped tied to a chair who had tape on his mouth. She looked at Samuel who shared the same expression. They both looked at Polo who was now unconscious. Samuel walked forward and kneeled down next to Polo. He put his hand on Polo's neck to check for a pulse. He was still alive.
"Guzmán, listen to me. School's out for the day.
They'll notice he's missing. When they see you, Mila and I are gone...We're not exactly..." Guzmán walked forward with a wet towel and placed it on Polo's body "We need him to tell us where the trophy is. If we get the trophy, he'll go to jail." Mila ran her hands through her hair
"How do we make him talk?" Guzmán walked to his cupboard and took out a pipe. Mila's eyes widened when he stepped forward "With the towel, we won't leave marks."Samuel sighed "Did you plan this?" Guzmán shrugged "You had no choice but to make your mom believe you were dead. Well, I had no choice but to plan this." He then stepped forward and slapped Polo on the neck "Polo!
Wake up! Come on, wake up." He slowly began to gain consciousness. As Polo began to wake up, Guzmán turned on a video of Marina dancing on the screen. He began to feel herself tear up as she remembered how good Marina was at dancing.
Guzmán turned to Polo "Tell me where the trophy is. Polo, tell me where the trophy is, and this hell will be over. For you and me. Over for good."
Suddenly Guzmán's phone began to ring. Samuel rushed to it and put in on silent. Guzmán turned his attention back to Polo.
"Polo, tell me where the trophy is." He stood up and took the tape off of Polo's mouth, although he remained silent. Guzmán looked at him coldly "Polo, please, tell me where the trophy is." He remained quiet.
Guzmán began to loose his temper as he continuously hit Polo with the pipe. Samuel and Mila rushed to his side and tried to stop him "Guzmán! Guzmán! Holy shit! stop!"
Polo looked down "Kill me. I...didn't want to kill Marina. It was an accident, Guzmán. It was an accident. But you're doing this to me on purpose. You're capable of killing me."
Guzmán hit Polo harder. Samuel and Mila tried to pull him away from Polo "Guzmán, stop, damn it! Let him go! Guzmán, let him go! Let him go! Let him go!"
Guzmán moves behind Polo and grabbed his neck, making him gasp for air. Mila and Samuel pushed Guzmán off of him. Mila stepped back in shock and she looked at Guzmán who embraced Samuel into a hug. She breathed heavily as she was shocked at the words that came out of Polo's mouth. He had confessed to murdering Marina.
Samuel untied Polo and he slowly got up. As he walked to the door Samuel looked at him. "It'd be your word against ours." Polo shared one look with Samuel and then left the room. Mila stood in shock at the encounter. She shook her head and walked out of the room.
