"Oh my god... finally we're done.." Joy told me while we close the store. "Hahaha, yeah it's really late wanna have a sleepover?" I asked since I wanted to be save and since it was night time the buses where not in service. "I can't... I'm sorry Y/n, its cause I've been studying since we are about to go back to college." In my mind I got scared since now I have to walk to my place in the middle of the night, but I didn't wanna bug Joy. "It's fine!! I understand you. So see you tomorrow?" I asked her with a fake smile on my face, "Yeah, see you tomorrow Y/n, have a goodnight!" "Thanks Joy, bye bye!". Then I watched Joy leave the shop slowly, she looked back at me for one last time and waved bye. And with that I waved back with a slight smile on my face. After that, she dissapeared into the darkness, then I saw a car ( which was hers) turn on and then saw her car drive away. I stayed for awhile to clean up somethings and just wanting to just keep distracting myself from leaving alone. Then there was nothing to do, so I breathed in and out, turned off the lights of the shop and locked it. Now I was in darkness, with no one I knew.
I was halfway to the apartments, I was starting to get used to being walking alone at this point. Even though I've been walking alone for a long time, I have still not gotten used to it since my mom always scared me with stories about what's in the dark, and to not trust strangers. I was about 2 or 3 miles away from the apartment when I started to get tired. I looked around me and saw a bus stop, since the buses we not in service I sat there thinking that no one would sit there at this time. But as I sat down, a started to see a shadow slowly move in the corner... I was wrong.
