My Life

He took me home and then we said goodbye to each other. I went to my room and got a text. I quickly checked who it was with a smile on my face, but it quickly disappeared when I realized that it was my mom, or should I say step mom.

My Past -->

I have two moms and dads. It's really hard to explain, but they are all alive.
I was a happy kid with two loving parents but then, my parents started to fight. It was mostly my mom who started the fights and I was just eight at the time. They fought almost every night, but then one day it became really bad. I was just about to sleep, they didn't fight so far so I was happy, but then I heard my mom scream. "OH MY GOD, I HATE YOU!!" "I KNOW YOU DO, BUT GUESS WHAT! YOU CAN DO NOTHING TO LEAVE ME CAUSE WE HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF Y/N" "AND WHAT! JUST BECAUSE I CAN'T LEAVE THIS RELATIONSHIP, DOESN'T MEAN I CAN'T CHEAT!" " YOU DID WHAT?!" "I.CHEATED.ON.YOU" "WHAT ABOUT Y/N WHAT WOULD SHE FEEL ABOUT THIS!" "I DON'T CARE WHAT SHE THINKS!! I JUST WANNA LEAVE YOU AND BE HAPPY!" " WHAT HAVE I EVEN DONE TO MAKE YOU HATE ME!! WE USED TO LOVE EACH OTHER!!" "ITS BECAUSE I KNOW YOU CHEAT ON ME EVERY DAY!!" "What-t no I don't..." "YES YOU DO, YOU HAVE BEEN FOR SO LONG AND I JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT IT!!" "I LOVE YOU! BUT YOU DON'T LOVE ME!!" "FIND THEN, IF WE DON'T LOVE EACH OTHER LETS JUST GET A DIVORCE!!" "FINE!" "FINE!!" Then they both slammed a door, my mom, her room, and my dad, the front door. At that time I didn't know what was going on. I didn't even know most of the things they said. All I knew was love and cheat. I was scared. Scared of what might happen. My mom walks in my room, to turn off my lights since I'm afraid of the dark, but then I said "No, don't turn them off!!". She then realised that I was awake while they were fighting." Hey Y/n... don't be scared for us ok? Me and your dad are just fine." "Then why you guys say no love and cheat!" "Oh sweetie, you'll find out once your older... Sleep though, good night" " Goodnight mommy!". But that night, I slept nothing, I was confused to what a divorce was and what would happened to me and my parents. The next morning, my mom and dad were not home, I got scared so I looked everywhere. But then I saw a paper.... I didn't really quite understand what it said, but both my parents signed it and at the top it had court on it. Now I know that, that was divorce papers, but at age eight i knew nothing.

The next day I went to court, they asked me who I wanna stay with. I was confused about what was going on. But I picked my mom. The trial finished and I was walking out with my mom and my dad left and drove away. But at that moment I realized that I made a mistake... I picked only my mom... how did dad feel? But looking back at it, I'm glad I picked my mom, I would rather have a loving family then a drunk family.

So the money that I'm saving up is for my mom. I hate my dad, but don't really tell anyone besides Joy. My dad and his new wife don't like me, my dad, cause I picked my mom, and his wife... I honestly don't know why.

Step mom 🙉🙄: Hey Y/n, I know I treat you bad but.... we need money.

Y/n: Why do you guys need money?! Don't yall have a job?

Step mom 🙉🙄: About that... we go fired...

Y/n: What's the money for?

Step mom 🙉🙄: Food and water!!

Y/n: beer?

Step mom 🙉🙄: No!!! Its not for that!

Y/n: Fine! I'll give it to y'all by the end of the day!!!

Step mom 🙉🙄: thank you!!

I closed my phone and sighed... " Ughhh... this is the 5th time they had done this... They are probably gonna drink again.."
