While I’m young I want to be wild ,
I want to be free, and just live in
the moment and drift off in peace,
There's no need to think about the un-necessary.
While I’m young,
I want to live my life to the fullest capacity,
with no questions, or responsibilities ,
and say fuck the world with no apologies.
With no limitations, nor worries
I can do what I want and nobody
can judge me, nor smudge my name
because I’ll be dammed if I let anyone
try to make me feel ashamed.
Cause while I’m young,
I want to have fun, I want to live a little recklessly, maybe have a drink or two
and play around with destiny,
and hope and pray that my wild
adventures leads me to ecstasy.
While I’m young I just want to live,
I want to have a life before I have
my kids. I want to experience things
and make mistakes, so that someday
I can show them how to survive the
heartbreaks, the earthquakes, and
even some snakes, But most importantly
I’ll be able to teach the difference
between real and fake.
I can tell them when I was young,
I lived care free, but the experiences
and lessons that I gained and
learned from living never left me.
So, I’ll give to you some advice,
A special gift I never received,
and that was only because love
was always trying to protect me.
While you’re young be wild, be free,
make your mistakes, but learn to make
yourself happy.
Live life with no regrets,
and no apologies, so that you too can
share with the next generation your anthologies.
