Scene: Bakery. Ladybug enters through the roof.
Ladybug: Spots off. (Ladybug transforms back into Marinette.)
Tikki: Marinette! Are you really going to meet with Chrysalis?
Marinette: I have to Tikki.
Tikki: What if it's a trap?!
Marinette: It doesn't matter. This is my chance to stop Chrysalis once and for all. (She looks at the wall.) But I do need backup in case something goes wrong. (She looks at her old closet.) I have an idea. (She opens the closet and reveals the miracle box.)
Scene: Hotel. Ladybug arrives.
Ladybug: I'm here Chrysalis! Where are you?!
Chrysalis: Compose yourself Ladybug. I'm here. (Steps steps out from Juleka's penthouse.) I was just checking on the hostages.
Ladybug: Hostages? How many people do you have in there?
Chrysalis: Chloe Bourgeois, Sabrina Raincomprix.
Ladybug: What are you planning on doing with them?
Chrysalis: Releasing them. I just needed them to get you here.
Ladybug: I would've come here even if you didn't have hostages.
Chrysalis: I needed you here alone.
Ladybug: So what now?
Chrysalis: Now we fight for each other's miraculous. No akumas. No lucky charm.
Ladybug: Fine by me. (She takes a miraculous box out of her yo-yo.)
Chrysalis: Hold on Ladybug. No power-ups either.
Ladybug: I don't think you're in a position to make any more demands Chrysalis.
Chrysalis: I so wanted to be civil about this. (She turns to the penthouse doors.) Bring them out. (Volpina suddenly walks out, dragging an unconscious Chloe and Sabrina.)
Ladybug: How is Volpina here? We just caught her.
Volpina: Your little sidekicks weren't enough to take me down. Guess you shouldn't have left them.
Ladybug: You beat all three of them?
Volpina: You say it like it's impossible. (She lets go of the women and laughs.) It was so easy.
Chrysalis: So what do you say? Back to my original offer?
Ladybug: Fine. (She puts the miraculous box back into the yo-yo.)
(Volpina turns back into Lila. A white butterfly flies away.)
Lila: What's going on? (Chrysalis bonks Lila with her cane and she passes out. Ladybug can't help but smirk.)
Chrysalis: Let's begin.
(Chrysalis grips her cane and runs toward Ladybug. Ladybug runs toward Chrysalis while spinning her yo-yo. Chrysalis begins to try and bash Ladybug with her cane, but Ladybug dodges each attempt to strike her with her yo-yo. Ladybug tries to trip Chrysalis with her leg. Chrysalis evades by jumping back. Ladybug then begins to swing her yo-yo around Chrysalis. Chrysalis grabs the yo-yo and pulls Ladybug into a kick that sends her flying across the floor.)
Chrysalis: Give up, Ladybug!
(Chrysalis is quick to trap Ladybug under her boot, but not quick enough. Ladybug rolls out of the way and hops to her feet.)
Ladybug: Not really my style!
Chrysalis: It will be when I take your miraculous! (Chrysalis pulls a blade out of her cane.)
