Chapter Two

Tanaka was on his way home with his best friend Nishinoya goofing off as they usually would. Noya was rambling on about how Asahi came over to his house yesterday.

The conversation slowly made him remember that someone was coming over to his house today. However he had no clue as to who it was,

"You know, it'd be nice if I could be Asahi's boyfriend." He sighs with content, "But I don't think he swings that way..." Nishinoya pouted at the thought.

As soon as the words left his mouth it was as if the wires connected in Tanaka's head. "Noya, come over today. I'll show that I do have a girlfriend." He grasped Noya's shoulders while shaking him a bit.

"😐"

Noya sighs, "You know your my ride or die bro, my bro's before hoes, my single before it tingles." Noya places a hand on Tanaka's shoulder, "So you don't gotta lie bout' anything to me man. "

The shorter male shook his head, "Either way I can't today, my grandpa came to visit. So maybe next time. " He patted Tanaka's shoulder before running off towards the direction of his house.

"See ya Ryu!"

The taller boy was left standing there. He took a deep breath in as his face scrunched up, clenching his backpack tighter.

His arms dropped as he exhaled, the disappointment still lingering within him.

"They're so annoying."

Tanaka pouts, "But at least I get to see (Y/N) today." And so he dragged himself home, with a deep frown on his face.

After arriving at his house, Tanaka drops his school bag at the door, shouting a small, (1) "Tadaima." Before sliding off his shoes, placing them to the side.

He looked around for his slippers but gave up with a sigh. It didn't really bother him, he'll just walk around with his socks on and look for them later.

He shrugs his shoulders with a slump and walks to his room. At first he didn't notice the girl sitting in the corner of his room, since his head was down.

He jumped onto his bed, letting out a long deep sigh. He lies down flat on his stomach and he pauses before flailing his arms and legs on the bed with a loud whine.

As you sat in the corner of his room, it took you everything in your bones to not burst out laughing at the sight.

You continue to watch your boy, waiting to see what he'll do next. But you didn't forget the depressed expression he wore when he first entered the room.

After Tanaka pauses for a second time, he turns around onto his back, and closes his eyes.

You concluded he was done with... whatever that was and moved from the corner of his room towards his bed. You watched him for a moment, deciding what to do next.

"Hm.."

A tiny light bulb went off in your head as an evil smirk made its way onto your lips as you stepped back a bit.

You prepared yourself to take a running start, plopping yourself onto him with a giggle. As you laughed, the boy groaned, his eyes shot open from the impact.

At first with a glare, believing his sister threw something on him. But then his eyes softened at your sight.

A small genuine smile formed onto his lips. You placed a finger between his eyebrows, pushing him back a bit.

"Don't be so upset Tanaka Senpai~"

Another giggle slipped past your mouth as you awaited Tanaka's reaction. You knew how Tanaka gets when he hears the word Senpai.
