I held your hand tightly as we stood on stage, waiting for the awards to be announced. I had already placed third in the solos category, and I watched you grow more and more anxious as you were waiting for second and first to be called. You bit your lip and turned to me, your eyebrows creased in worry. I gently stroked my thumb over the back of you hand. "Everything will be alright, don't worry, Mi Cha. You did amazing," I reassured you. You let out a shaky breath and squeezed my hand tighter, before turning back to me and resting your head on my shoulder. I planted a soft kiss on top of your head, and I swore I saw your face turn pink. I must have been imagining, though.
