I don't know how to tell Klaus. I don't know how he'll take it, so I called Elliot for help. Elliot is Klaus' brother. Family is important to Klaus and he always listens to his brother.
Someone knocked on the door I went to open.
"A noble vampire who is always dressed in a suit. Welcome home. Come on."
"Jennifer, I'm glad to see you after so many years. What was so urgent that it couldn't wait?"
"You wouldn't believe it, I'd better show it to you. Listen carefully." I grabbed his hand and placed it on my stomach. Elliot listened and heard the beating of the little creature's heart in my stomach.
"You're pregnant. Magnificent. Who's the father of the baby?"
"Klaus. You have to help me. I don't know how he'll react, but he'll get better from you."
"All right, I'll be happy to help you. I'm sure everything will turn out well. I'll protect you, no matter what happens. You have my word." he took my palms in his hands.
"Thank you, Elliot. I appreciate what you're doing for me."
"I'll call him to stop here."
Less than 10 minutes later, Klaus was at our door.
"Elliot called me, I'm supposed to come here."
"Hi, yes, come on, Klaus."
"What's going on, Elliot?"
"Niklaus ... I know it's going to sound incredible, but Jennifer is carrying your baby."
"That's not possible. Vampires can't have children." he shook his head in disbelief.
"But werewolves can. Jennifer is partly a demon, you're a vampire only because of magic, but you were born a werewolf."
"Are you sure it's from me? What if you were with someone else?"
"But I wasn't with anyone but you, Klaus. It's yours, I'm sure of it."
"I still can't believe it. It hasn't happened in a thousand years."
"Brother, this is a miracle. This is our chance for a new family. Everything can change that. Take the baby and the girl. You've always cared about Jennifer."
"Let's just say the baby is from me. But now everyone going to use it as my weakness when someone finds out."
"Then don't let them, Niklaus. Fight and protect the baby and Jennifer. That's what the family is about."
Klaus walked over to me and stroked my stomach.
"I won't let anyone hurt you, love. We'll be family. We can do it," Klaus assured me, kissing me on the forehead.
"What does your boyfriend say? Doesn't that bother him?" Klaus asked.
"He was a little upset but he put up with it. He's happy to have a baby."
"And where is he right now? As I know, he's trapped in this house forever like a ghost."
"I brought him to life and turned him into a vampire. It was his condition to forgive me and to start over."
"Ah, I understand that. I'm sure he's enjoying his freedom somewhere now."
Hayley came to visit the next day.
"What do you want here?"
"I came to say goodbye to you."
"Are you going somewhere?"
"George's pack and I are going to the Appalachian Mountains."
"What about Klaus? He's coming with you too?"
"No, it's actually over between us and he told me about your little romance. We had an argument."
"And he told you I was expecting his baby?"
"What? No, he didn't tell me about it. Actually, I'm expecting a baby, too. I just didn't even tell him about it."
"When did you find out? And who is it from?"
"Yesterday. I'm 100 percent sure of George. Why?"
"Why do you always have to repeat after me? I've been pregnant before," I closed in disgust.
"I don't repeat, it just happened."
"You're getting on my nerves. You're trying to be like me, but I can't blame myself for being so perfect. I'm sure you're happy, but I won't give you that luck. We'll see if you're still pregnant." I ran out and stabbed her in the stomach with a knife and went outside.
