I did not know what to do. It was all my fault. That's why Evan is dead. I mourned and cried but nothing would bring him back. I decided to call Samuel.
"Samuel." I said crying.
"Jennifer. Are you crying? What happened?"
"Samuel, he's dead. Evan is dead." I spoke through tears.
"What? What are you talking about?"
"Where are you now?"
"Damien and I are at Jo's bar in Mississippi."
"Please come here. I need you. I can't do it. I'll explain everything to you."
"Okay, we're in Louisiana we're gonna be at home 4 hours later."
By 4 o'clock they were both at home. They saw me sitting and crying over Evan's body.
"Jennifer, what happened?" Samuel asked.
"A lot has happened in those few days. I'm pregnant with Klaus and Evan found out about it and was upset but said that if I found a spell that could free him from prison, he would forgive me. So I brought him to life and then turned him into a vampire he asked me to marry him but I turned him down because I know I feel something for Klaus too, so he gave me some time to think and as I was thinking, I decided I wanted to be with Klaus. Evan said that if I decided to be with Klaus he will leave and let me be happy, he didn't make it and he pierced his heart."
"I am so sorry." Samuel pulled me close and hugged me tightly. I rested my head on his chest and cried even more.
"And you can't bring him back with the spell?" Damien asked.
"I've tried it twice before. It didn't work. It's all my fault."
"Don't say that. It was his choice, Jennifer. You're strong, you can do it. You're Jennifer Montgomery after all." Samuel encouraged me.
"We should bury him before his body begins to rot." Damien said after a while. Samuel and Damien went to the garden to dig a pit, and I washed Evan's body and dressed him in suit. I will tell his family that Evan has left and will not return. It will be better that way. I don't want his family to pity me and blame me. Maybe it's better for him so he won't have to worry anymore. I hurt him a lot and I will never forgive myself but he had to know the truth. We buried Evan in an unmarked grave in the garden.
Nightmares accompanied me every night. I saw him die again and again. Every night I woke up from a dream with screaming and crying. Samuel was always with me and he was my support in difficult times.
That's what I needed. It was a depressing period for me. After a few months, the nightmares stopped. I was in my fourth month of pregnancy. I live with Klaus now. I was just visiting Samuel and Damien and we were sitting in the kitchen when someone was shouting my name. I went to the window and looked out. I saw 11 people standing outside and Hayley was among them. She had her hands tied and held by two women.
“Who are you and what do you want?” I went outside and asked.
"You must be Jennifer. I'm a Sybil. I'm a witch, and these are the sisters from our coven."
"What does that mean to me? Why is Hayley tied up?"
"It's gotten to us that you're both expecting a baby from a hybrid. That baby will bring hell to earth. It's a monster we have to destroy."
"That baby isn't from Klaus. I already told you it's from George. Let me go now!" Hayley said, trying to free herself from the grip on the rope.
"That rope is soaked in the wolf's bane. It weakens you, don't try to free yourself, wolf." said Sybil.
"Let her go now, she's telling the truth. She told me herself."
"We won't be sure until we cast a spell that confirms it to us. We can perform it after birth. The monster is strong, it can't be killed so we'll wait until it's born and then we'll kill it."
“I won't let you touch him at all!” I wanted to pounce on the witch, but I felt pain. I fell to the ground and rose in pain. Klaus appeared and tore Sybil's head away. The pain stopped.
"Love, are you okay?" helped me up from the ground.
The other witches began to cast a spell.
"Who's next? Who am I supposed to kill next? You probably don't know what I'm capable of." Klaus shouted angrily.
One of the witches spoke.
"We know who you are. You're half a vampire, you're half an animal. You won't hurt anyone. We've cast a spell that has connected us to Jennifer. If you hurt any of us, the same thing will happen to her."
"Damn witches! What the hell is going on here ?!"
"Jennifer and Hayley are carrying your child. It's a monster that will bring ruin to the world. We will prevent it and destroy it."
"That baby is from George. How many times do I have to tell you? Klaus and I haven't been together in a long time," Hayley said angrily.
"I don't care about Hayley. Feel free to kill her and the baby. I only care about Jennifer and the baby."
"What? Klaus. They're going to kill me. You can't let that happen," Hayley said with fear in her eyes.
"We won't kill any of them. The monster is powerful and can't be killed when it's in the stomach, it will survive. But when it's born it will be possible to kill it. Until then, we'll follow your every move. Then we'll try a spell on Hayley. If she's telling the truth nothing happens to her and the child. If any of you prevent the monster from being killed, we will kill you all. " said the witch, and they all left.
