Masquerade

A thud in black

Thump thump

Went my heart

The fast it beat the more I understood.

I was about to be attacked

I am not sure why or even who but I know it's coming

The thumping of my heart tells me

It's like a 6th sense.

I turn just as my head connected with the ground from someone throwing them selves at me.

A young girl to young to be masked looked up at me and smiled

"Oh I am sorry I didn't mean too run into you" she said her smile staying in place the whole time

"Thats okay, where are your parents?"

"Oh umm.... They are just looking for me, but they can't come in here." That's when I noticed the girl was barefoot and wearing all pink.

"Are your parents black masks?"

"No...."

Shouting started. "Find her! Quick before someone sees her!"

I looked down at the little girl who put her charming smile into place.

"Is that for you?"

Her smile dropped " please don't let them take me! I don't like being experimented on! I hate being in the tie downs they put me in. Please don't like them have me!"

I don't know what made me automatically know what to do but I couldn't let them take her. " I Won't give you to them, come with me I know where you can go." We ran to the outskirts of black where there was a small cave that went all the way back. I couldn't go with her but I knew someone would be in that cave waiting for her. I just have heard that this is where people go when they don't want to be at their mask anymore. I plan to go one day but not today. She looked up at me " I don't want to go alone." The yelling got closer I wasn't going to get here to safety unless I took her somewhere with me. " you won't I will be with you." With that said we walked into the deep black cave
