A week has passed since my 'moment' with Draco. We didn't speak any further of it and things got awkward between us. Most of the week, I have been spending my day studying with Blaise, while Draco and Pansy were taking extra duelling lessons. The more I got to know Blaise, the more I realised that he's an amazing person. Underneath the tense and cold boy everyone thought they knew, there is a child that still lives within him. He's funny, sweet, caring and selfless. Speaking of Blaise, I'm actually with him right now, in the Common Room, getting ready to go to Honeydukes like we planned before I ditched him for Draco. I decided I want to dress cute today, to show off. I wore my favourite green plaid skirt and a big jumper with long black socks and shoes. Walking down the stairs to greet Blaise, I felt like a huge weight had been taken off my shoulders. I couldn't care less about what was going on, I just wanted to go out and have fun.

I'm waiting in the common room for Blaise, who is still getting ready. Unexpectedly, I hear a whistle behind me. I turn to face Blaise, who is wearing a dark turtleneck and looking as handsome as always. The tight material hugs his body shape, muscular and beautiful.
"You look ravishing, Holly." I tuck my hair behind my ears and my cheeks flush.
"Knock it off, Mr. Zabini. You're as charming as always." His muscles relax and he smiles with great warmth. He extends an arm, and I entwine mine around his and we walk out together. As we exit the school building, the cold air whips my face and Blaise wraps his arm around my shoulders. The walk to Hogsmeade was long, but enjoyable. Zabini's presence made me feel relaxed and happy inside. He noticed me smiling to myself and chuckles.
"Something on your mind gorgeous?"
I look up at him and smile wider.
"You." I intone. He stops in his tracks and looks  nonplussed. He starts stuttering.
"W-wh- what?"
"I'm just wondering why we've never went out together before, it's fun." For a second, he looks almost disappointed but I come to think nothing of it.
"Y- yeah. I mean, Draco has you wrapped all around his finger. You're always with him."
The mention of Draco's name made my heart sink. I sigh.
"Blaise, you know that's not true. We're just close." He shakes his head and tucks his hands into his pockets.
"No, Holly, it's like he owns you. Remember how protective he got over me calling you princess? It's like he's the only person allowed to have you." Not quite sure what to say, I take his hand out of his pocket and give it a squeeze.
"He doesn't own me. Nobody does."
"Yet." He smiles down at me and bends down to my level to examine my face and sniggers.
"You get red so quickly." He teases.
I laugh and shove him to the side. He comes back and holds my hand, rubbing small circles on it, a motion that calmed me. When we got to  Honeydukes, we went inside. Blaise offered to pay for what I choose, and the more I refused, the more he insisted until I gave in. I got some Caramel Cobwebs and Acid Pop. Blaise got Peppermint Toads and Salt Water Taffy. We go out of the store and sit on a bench together, enjoying and sharing our sweet treats.
"You've got a little bit of caramel cobweb on your lip-"
"Where-"
"Right there-"
"Blaise, wher-" He reaches out and wipes the caramel off my lip. His thumb swipes across my lips, and he looks down at me with his finger still on them. He pulls my face towards his until-
"Blaise what on EARTH do you think you're doing?" Draco marches towards us, face red and fists clenched. Blaise lets go of my face and stands up, unfazed.
"You got a problem?"
"Thats- YES, yes I have a problem! Thats Holly- MY Holly- that you're getting your dirty hands on." Blaise smiles coyly.
"Last time I checked, she's not your property."
"I never said she wa-"
"Don't you think it's enough that you're her best friend, or do you want to date her too? Is that what it is? Has itty bitty Draco got a little crus-" Before he could finish his sentence, Draco pumelled Blaise in the nose, a sickening crunch coming from it. I get up and scream at Draco.
"Leave! Go!"
"You're mine, Holly please-"
"Just go! You're only making things worse."
Draco stands in shock, not sure of how to react. I've never shouted at him before. He slumps his shoulders, brow creasing and eyes getting watery. He opens his mouth as if he's about to speak, but remains like that. He turns around expeditiously, trying to hide his face getting red  and hot tears running down his cheeks. He starts running towards Hogwarts, sound of slight sniffling still audible. I look down at Blaise, who's nose is bleeding. I take him to the Hospital Wing to get his broken nose fixed. I sit beside his bed and hold his hand.
"I'm sorry for the way Draco reacted. I don't know why he is so protective over me."
Blaise exhales and smiles weakly.
"It's okay, I'd protect you like that if you were mine too. You're special."
Tears start to make my vision blurry. I bow down to his level and kiss his forehead and apologise again. He falls asleep smiling, and I'm getting lightheaded and sleepy too, almost as if I'm about to fall asl-
