I said "I know right, and entire weekend in my brothers cabin!"
I was only 2 years younger then Zac, but he still got the cabin to himself. I deserve it more than him because of my secret, but I'm pretty sure "I have a tail" is not a legitimate excuse.
Me and Jenna are best friends and mermaids together, ever since our vacation in the Pacific. The mermaids over there told us, how since we are from here, but transformed there, we would only be tolerate of the weather we are used to.
I'm a northern mermaid and so is Jenna but our best friend Melinda Santos (or Meli) is a southern mermaid. She found out when we got wet right after we got back. Luckily she helped is hide. I fact, she was a mermaid herself.
She told us about how magical a full moon can be in the moon pool. We went to Mako on land and we actually fell on through a hole. We walked around, until we saw it: The moon pool.
Later that night, we went back to to get house where we told her mom, our schools principle that we are also mermaids.The three of us are now inseparable.
But there's a secret only me and Jenna know.
The reason to why my tail is blue. The reason is because in the future, someone I love will turn into a merman. A merman. The mermaids in the pacific told me it's most likely someone I fall in love with so I should be extra careful.
Most mermaids on mako never question me about it. They just excepted that I didn't know. I made a really good friend in there pod, Serena. When I talked to her, I realized our moon pool, wasn't there's. When I told my friends we decided to keep our secret moon pool, a secret.
