The Bodyguard

Chapter 2

Aria's POV

"LANI!!!" my bestfriend screams and jumps on my bed causing me to fall off of my bed. Don't get me wrong I love Maddison she has been with me since the beginning she has been with me through all the good and bad in my life but I'm not a morning person. "DAMNIT MADDS!!!" I yelled from the floor she just starts laughing like a damn hyena. She's laughing so hard she is wheezing and holding her stomach I cant help but laugh with I mean I probably would've done the  same thing ohh who am I  kidding I would've done the same thing. "Awww I knew you couldn't stay mad at  me" she says with a smirk on her face. Ooooo how I would love to  smack it right off of her face. But im to lazy to right now so I just glare at her. This causes her to laugh again. Me having no patience in the morning I just roll my eyes at her. I still haven't had my daily dose of caffeine yet . " Why are you here so early madds??" "Well....you see your dad text my dad telling him what happened yesterday and yall having an argument about the new bodyguard and thought it would be a good ide for me and you to hangout before you meet him." Ohh was all I managed to say before I went to do my business in the bathroom I washed my hands and told madds I was going to take a quick shower and get ready for the day she just laid across my bed. As I let the hot water run down my body. I couldn't help but think of how my life would be if we were normal. After about 20 minuets in the shower I got out and put my makeup on

"Damn Lani you slayyyy." madss says to me while looking me up and down. I just laugh we sit and talk about random stuff for a couple of hours before Derek and Mason come in my room they sat with us for about two hours. But now its 3pm and we must go meet my new bodyguard. Madds went home but said she will be back tomorrow. I walk downstairs to find my dad standing in front of the front door he looks at me and smiles" Hey mija how are you today" he says to me with sadness in his eyes. I can never stay mad at him its just me and him my mom past away when I was young. I walked up to him and hugged him"im good papa how are you? im sorry for yesterday I know your only trying to protect me" I say with tears threatening to fall. He pulls me into one his infamous bear hugs. "No mija im sorry I should've told you about what was happening before I told you about your new bodyguard" he said with sincerity laced in his voice. "Its ok papa I understand im not mad. Shall we go meet my new bodyguard then??." I smiled he just nodded his head in agreement as we went outside there was a large black SUV waiting for us. I hugged Derek and Mason before I got in hugging them always seemed to calm my nerves a bit. "Mija we are almost there" my father said. All I could was nod my head I was trying to keep my anxiety down I don't want to have an anxiety attack here . my thoughts are everywhere like is he mean is he nice will he think im a spoiled brat is he a giant like everyone I know. I'm not sure but lets get this over with. we parked out side of my fathers office Mason opened the door for me and held his had out for me to take it. And of course I took it "its ok sis we will be with you all the way" Mason whispered in my ear. I nodded and took a deep breath. my father was already ahead of us. Derek to my left and Mason to my right I feel my anxiety somewhat fade but its still there. As we walked in his office building everyone greats us with a "Good afternoon" or just nod . As we were in the elevator my anxiety was going through the roof Derek must of noticed because he bent down and picked me up by my waist hugging me in his arms "Heyy shh shh its okay princess we are right here" my breathing slowed down and I just layed my face in the crook of his neck his cologne was very calming to me. He put me down as soon as the elevator reached the top floor. As we walked out my dads secretary said "Mr. Santos is in your office" he nodded she looked up and saw me she ran up to hug me. Her name is Christina I don't talk to her very much but she is kinda like a mother to me "hi Christina" I said but it came out as a whisper. She giggled and hugged me again and said she had work to do and it was nice seeing me. I just nodded Derek and Mason were now in front of me. "Are you ready sis??"Mason asked with concern written all lover his face. I just took a deep breath and nodded. they both crouched down to kiss my cheeks. but that's when I heard the most dreamiest voice I have ever heard it soothed my nerves and made my heart jump in my chest I was lost in thought till my father called me through his office doors. "Mija could you com in here I would like you to meet your new bodyguard I just nodded and looked at the boys they turned around and I grabbed there sleeves they walked in front of me like a barrier protecting me from anything that could harm me." Elijah i would like you to meet my daughter" my father said. Tapped on the boys arms to move over a bit so i can see my new bodyguard but i still held onto their sleeves as i looked up i saw a gorgeous man with tattoos all over his neck going into the side of his head. he had tattoos running down his toned arms down to his hands. ohh the thing he could do to me wi-- snap out of it wtf. i looked up into his beautiful ice blue eyes. he was just staring down at me he was about 6"7 i quickly looked away from his gaze and hid behind Derek. my cheeks red from embarrassment because i was checking him out he had a black t-shirt that hugged his body you could tell he was well built and worked out a lot. He had black ripped jeans and jordans he looked like the bad boy type.
