Xion was cold this time of year... shaderian would know this best out of anyone, the man was born and raised there. The crunching of snow under foot could barely be heard through the symphony of the mountain storm. His mask pressed against his face, cold and melting the snowflakes that stuck to it, his raven black hair peppered with white as well as his cloak.

it had been almost a day since he left Wutara, a little fishing village on the coast of the small country. he had to hurry otherwise the feast would be over and his opportunity would be gone. too many months of planning were put into this mission of his, and he was not going to mess it up in any way, he never had. theres always a first time... he thought. the storm began to clear and the moon would grace the mountain side with its pale beauty. power began to fill shaderian's body. the night was his source of power... the moon was a graceful and most merciful of goddesses.

with her power shaderian began too focus, he had not managed to teleport long distances such as places across the world, not even places within the same country, the most he could do was disappear and reappear about 129 meters, and that was his limit. The moons power would help him with his struggling ability. "Thelephethe..." he whispered. an odd sensation came upon him he felt cold and then instantly warmer his ears popped and head began to hurt his vision blurry, everything was dark, he looked around confused, and then concentrated.

the world began to become less hazy and then blinked. It all came into focus the cobblestone pathway had become bigger and he was on a bridge, the sound of rushing water poured into his ears as it spilled over the cliff side. he tried to figure out where he was. still dazed he pulled out his map and located himself after much confusion. "cherry wood falls" he whispered in Xionic.

examining the map he found that the capital was about 2 miles away from this bridge. "perfect" he said putting his map away and continuing along the path.

about an hour later he reached the city gates. "halt"  called one of the guards in front of the giant red doors, the walls had archers in place. shaderian stopped. "what is your business here in Kotosakura?" the man asked. shaderian began to walk again. "hey i said halt!" the man yelled pulling his katana free from its sheath. "my business is... my own..." he said continuing towards the man. "sir, thats far enough, we need you to-" the man stopped. his face began to turn red and an awful gagging sound came from his mouth. he reached for his neck as if someone was choking him. the other guard began turning red as well. they both started to lift and shaderian just watched.

a loud crack accompanied their faces turning purple. whatever was holding them had released and dropped them. collapsing to the floor the archers on the wall noticed this and began to knock arrows. Shaderian observed this and warped up behind one of the archers. they all gasped in confusion when they saw him disappear. quickly shaderian created a knife and slit the nearest archers throat from behind, blood squirted from the mans now flooding airway. the archer next to him screamed in horror and took aim at shaderian who just warped behind that archer and did the same to him. the archers began retreating to the towers on either side of the wall.

"oh no you dont..." he said getting ready to attack again when a large horn sounded from behind. one of the archers running into the tower opposite of the one he was heading towards had blown a warning horn. shaderian cursed. the archer with the horn seemed to grow pale when shaderian glared at him, shaderian focused on the man and widened his eyes in anger. then the mans body parts twisted in unnatural ways, many cracks were heard and then a thump.

the emperor will be told about whats going on... but due to the relic, his corruption and greed will make him keep that information quiet among his guests, shaderian thought. an arrow flew past him and crashed into the stone floor of the wall. he then whispered an incantation "Edelegano Wirimenee..." the hail of arrows ceased and dust exploded from the towers. he smiled sickly under his mask. jumping off the wall and into the city, he landed with a thud and looked up towards the palace.
