The bustling and loud class instantly became quieted down as Maria entered. They silently gave her way as she went to a seat and their topic of conversation changed to reasons why she had come from her studies abroad.
Their class was an elite class so naturally, they recognized her for who she was and gave her polite nods or small smiles to which she returned.
As she sat down comfortably, she was conflicted on one thing, 'System, if I remember correctly, most of these people know miss Jadein and that video of her idiocy should have taken a hit to her.'
[ En, I've already checked it, Host. Someone had deleted them before it could've reached the school forums. ]
[ Despite having no brains, she is a character that was able to snatch the Heaven's Child's title somehow. And before this, we don't know how she even came. Implore Host to be wary. ]
Staring into space, she had gathered that Rose somehow snatched a hacker and a professional one at that. But who did they think they were? In Maria's eyes, they were no different from pesky ants.
'I trust that you have a copy, right?'
[ Always. ]
'Good, I have some uses for it.' She said nothing else as she scanned the room absent-mindedly and landed her eyes on the Male Lead, Chris Ronan.
Coincidentally, his line of sight was also on her so, their eyes met. He raised his eyebrows questionably but she only ignored it and turned away. This had brought confusion to him.
[ Host, OO- ]
'OOC is a characters' personality, isn't it? An innocent girl that had a close friend who died, wouldn't this make them colder?'
[ ... ]
He said nothing more and stalked off for the remainder of the class while she comfortably held her head using her arm as a support.
As soon as class dismissed, Maria stayed behind and watched students file out of the room. Gradually, she became the last person and was going her way if it weren't for someone stopping her at the doorway.
"We need to talk, Mary."
Maria's gaze bore into the other's blue irises, "Fine, I was planning on looking for you too, Chris."
