Hearing the notification, Maria looked up from the number-filled screen and just stared dumbly at her system.
"Why should I worry for a danger level as low as 5?"
If Shadow could be in a human form, he would've long tried to beat up this ungrateful Host. At least he warns her!!
[ Host should be lucky that I'm in a good mood or else... ]
Maria secretly rolled her eyes from this. Why should she be scared of a fox?
[ For different blackening levels, there are four stages. ]
[ Stage one, levels 1 to 4 are low; Not much intent to eliminate Host. ]
[ Stage two are levels 5 to 7 are middle levelled, targets do have the intent, but does hesitate. Although when it increases, they wouldn't care ]
[ Stage three is levels 8-14, high-levelled. Targets want to eliminate Host as soon as they could and wouldn't care how they do, as long as they get it done. Level 10 to 14 is when Host should be of caution. ]
[ Finally, stage four is the nightmare level of 15. Targets go berserk. ]
Shadow finally finished and looked at an expressionless Maria who held her hand to her chin thoughtfully. Surprisingly, she smirked, "Rose is really interesting, blackening to the point of level 7."
Shadow gave up reasoning with this Host of his and retreated to a dark corner to draw circles.
What he didn't see was Maria's eyes flashing with a cold glint before she continued back to where she left off on her screen.
A/N Why do I feel like I'm not controlling the story, but the story is controlling me.
