All good things must come to an end

Chapter four

I laid with my head propped on my arms under Williams chair. Alex and James sat on the one sofa while Charlotte and Claire pulled up the other arm chairs and sat next to William and I while the two sat on the other sofa. Victor went to bed early so he could relax after having such a confused day. I wanted to go with him but I wanted to hear what the two had to say.

"I'm sure you may not know of us but your mother and father had asked us both to be your guardians, and this may result as splitting you apart."

"No" William stood up and walked away but stayed in the room, "we thought you might say that but as your guardians I must insist that"

"No, and that's final you may stay until the storm is over then leave" "Clair Alex James Eliza why don't we all go to bed and leave the grown ups to talk," I slide back under the chair and wait till they leave.

"As the head of this house I say me and my siblings stay and will not be split apart" William walked over and moved the chair from above me lifted me up and nods. "Gentle men I'll have my sister escort you two to the guest rooms" I rapped my arms and legs around William and fell asleep.

"Goodnight"

Back in Charlotte Claire's room. William knocks on the door and Charlotte answers. "Knew it, little sneak," "yes well she is getting better at it, oh and would you mind after putting her to bed to show the two to the guest room?" "Yes William," "thank you,".

And just like that I fell asleep in my bed.

I slowly open my eyes feeling sick, I didn't eat so, I grabbed my dance flats and put on my chocker and left my room with a single candle light guiding me to the kitchen. There I found victor.
And William with the guardians.

"Last time no deal," "but you all need and adult with you" "I am the adult," William raised his voice. "Prove it where is your fathers will stating that you are head of this house!" I reached in my pocket and fiddled with the paper.

"right here" the four turned and I walked up to the table and set it out in the middle then walked over to the counter set my candle down and grabbed a snack. "Clever girl" "indeed don't test her she's smarter than you think" my eyes flashed a light blue with symbols in the middle. "A peculiar child she is" "yes indeed and you will do and stay away from her" victor got up grabbed my hand after I grabbed my candle and finishing my snack and we went back to our rooms and went to bed.
