UNKNOWN POV
"We're almost there!" Reena yelled behind me. I ran faster even though my legs we're burning. We had been running all night, nonstop.
The fence is so close.
Alexandria clutched the fabric on my shirt, looking at me terrified. The grass was tall making it to hard to see. I was beyond out of breath, and I could feel my feet were raw from running on this sharp ass grass.
"I THINK I SEE EM!"
Shit they're back!
I could hear the car engine closer behind. I looked back only seeing Kim and Reena behind me.
"Don't look back!"
I Kept running with one arm out pushing the grass ahead of me.
"SEND SNOW ON THEIR NIGGER ASSES!"
No, I'll never make it.
I heard the car stop but barking soon replaced it. I could feel the cramps in my legs becoming unbearable. But I need to keep going.
"GET EM SNOW!"
I heard a soul bending scream.
"Keep running!"
Tears we're streaming down my face, not because I'm terrified for my life, it's bec I know I won't make it over this fence to see my old one again.
I kept hearing thuds and screaming. I heard breathing behind me and grew more scared.
"They're closer!" I felt relief it was Ru'Sya.
She tried to grabbed my arm but I dipped out the way. She ran ahead of me with a limp, but was going like track star.
"CATCH EM BOYS, $300 IF YOU GET EM UNINJURED!" The car was gaining on us.
I heard the barking again.
I ran ahead but felt a sharp pain rip through my back.
"Aahgggg!" I fell to the muddy ground making me drop Alex. They shot me! She began crying so loud and I couldn't reach her.
"Nooooo!" Ru'Sya stopped and ran back to me.
"Take R-Ria, leave me here!"
She picked her up.
Ria hollered at the top of her lungs.
"Give me my baby you crazy bitch!" She kicked mud in my eyes before running away.
"Thought you could get away from me Jessie?!" He put his boot on the back of my head, cocking his gun.
"Lord God, please watch over my baby. God bless take care of her-"
"Shut up, there is no God! I am your God!" He moved his foot replacing it with the barrel of his fun.
"Pleassseee nooo!"
"Say goodnight!"
SYA'S POV
BANG!
Crows flew from around me as I ran. I heard her cry. He killed her. Ohhh God he killed her! I hated her but I didn't want her dead!
Alexandria's crying died down but she was covered in mud. I ran full speed catching up with Reena and Genesis.
"We're here." I ran feeling hope rush over me.
I slowed down and began taking the backpack I stole off.
