The sound of small feets nearly touching the ground came running towards us, while yelling in happiness "Ada!" Awaneth turned around to see whom it was and saw there was a little elf, with a hand made bow in it's hands and a dark green cape around it's neck. His hair was just like Thranduil's, it was blonde and long. His eyes was shining and were light blue.
Awaneth turned around to look at Thranduil and saw he was smiling, but she have never seen him smiling like that, like the smile came from his heart, the smile was real. Thranduil lay down his glass of red wine.
Awaneth heard Thranduil saying "Henig nin" And took him on his lap. Awaneth was surprised and looked at the child he just put on his lap. "Wait what! is this his Child?! he HAS A CHILD?" Awaneth looked from his son to Thranduil and saw that the same blood Thranduil had was floating in his son.
His son looked at Awaneth and said to his dad "Ada, who is this girl you are eating dinner with?" Thranduil looked at his son and said to him "Why don't you go and say hi?" His son jumped of his lap and went to Awaneth and said "HI! I am legolas!' Awaneth took him up and put him on his lap while saying "nice to meet you Legolas, I am Awaneth" Legolas just looked at her and smiled "Look what i made Awaneth and Ada!"
Legolas showed a bow he had made all by himself and a an arrow which couldn't even kill a fly" Awaneth had to act impressed so she said "Oh my! did you make this all by yourself?" Legolas nodded with a proud smile
Thranduil looked at Awaneth and his son and liked how she talked to him it reminded him of someone. Someone very dear to him, clearly his Queen. Thranduil smiled while looking at Awaneth and Legolas talking.
Legolas jumped of her lap and was of the run to go and play "Be careful Legolas!" Thranduil yelled across the rom. Some guards then followed Legolas. There were always two guards with Legolas, in case of course if something happend, becasue Mirkwood, there was spiders, orcs and things that other had never before seen, so he was very worried about him.
It got very quit after Legolas and the guards left the rom. Awaneth took some hair behind her ear and said "I didn't knew you had a son, hir vuin" Thranduil looked at Awaneth for a while before replying and said "He is the only child i have" Awaneth saw no smile in his face at that point, but didn't question him anymore.
After a while they were done eating, Thranduil said to Awaneth "As promised i will let you work here. You can work with other servants, and i hope to see no trouble come from you, understood?" Awaneth looked at him biting her lips and saying "Yes, hir vuin" Awaneth stood up and went to a rom she was told where she can find clothes and other servants.
She opend a unknown door and saw that there were many servants females there looking at her. Not a smile to be seen either. Awaneth heard one saying "And there is another one..."
Awaneth looked down and knew this was not going to be good. She walked slowly towards them and introduced herself in a polite while saying that she was sent by the lord himself. One of the servants came behind some others with some clothes in her hands saying "yes, we expected you. Here are some clothes" She throwed those clothes at Awaneth and truned around and went out of the rom, then one by one went out after her, and left Awaneth alone.
She looked at the clothes, they were actually nice. They were brown, with long sleeves and was open by the chest and tight arund the stomach and loose from there. She took it on, and looked at the mirror and thought to herself to try and look at the light side.
She went out of the rom and was headed to the forest to get some fresh air from all that have happend when suddenly a sevant who had given her clothes to wear, stopped her. "By the way, my name is Evelyn" Awaneth smiled and bowed to her head slowly and said "My name is Awaneth, it's a pleasure to me...." Before Awaneth could finish her sentence, Evenlyn said with a not so caring voice "i don't care, and here are some clothes you can wash by the river"
Evelyn gave her a basket full of dirty clothes and a basket specially The kings clothes, and just went without saying anything else. She looke down at the baskets and sighed and looked at Evelyn who was walking to another direction.
Awaneth found the river and started to wash the clothes, they were many and very dirty. She heard some other servants behind her, laughing at her and whispering things while look at her. Awaneth did not feel comfortable with the situation. Awaneth tried to ignore it and just mumbled a song her mother used to sing to her when she was young.
Awaneth suddenly felt two hands on her back and pushed her into the water. She could feel the cold water come over all her body. It was freezing cold. She could feel her left cheek hit a rock under the water and make it stings, she knew she got a wound on her cheek.
By the time she went up from the water it took a while. She stood up as fast as she could with her hands rubbing her eyes, and her heavy breathing getting calmer. She opend her eyes and saw that they were running twoards the palace. She just looked at herself and freezing and her cheek hurting, a tear came from her eye. She was hurt deep in her heart and whised for a second that she just could be killed while the orc took her.
She heard little steps lightly touching the green grass the wind was touching. She looked up and saw Legolas looking at her with a sad face.
