Chapter 12: Karaoke Night

"Oh you're already here?" I asked them, "Yup!" All of our phones buzzed, we looked, 'KARAOKE NIGHT AT 6:00 PM, PLEASE COME!' I looked at my watch, it's 5:30 pm, "Aren't we going to get ready?" I asked them, "Well..." All their faces light up, except for one, why is Ash sad about Karaoke? She has a nice voice...

-After preparing...-

I wore a blue dress with a denim jacket, with black boots, Ash is... probably wearing her own simple dress with a hat. "So, are we going? If not, Jordan is gonna bomb us with text messages." I asked, "THAT'S RIGHT, NATURAL (Y/N)! IT WOULD BE RUDE FOR US NOT TO COME AT THE PARTY!" Leila said, "okay, who votes for karaoke?" Ash asked, I raised my hand, so does Leila and Abigail, "Okay. Then let's go." 

-At the party-

(Ash's POV)

'I'm only doing this for Snowflake... there's nothing going to worry about...'

"G-good thing you c-came here early than u-usual." Jordan said, "Thank you for the invite, Jordie!" (Y/N) said, "N-no problem! Haven't hosted a party in like a few months now, heheh. Please c-come in, the Karaoke machine is already set up, I i-invited Jonas and Luke, they were just passing by earlier." he giggled nervously, we went into a room with a Karaoke machine on a wide stage, a couch and several tables.

Ash sat down at the couch, it's pretty big and comfy. I sat down beside her. That black and blue-haired man stood beside the machine, he came towards us then asked, "Sooo, you're the Natural's sister, aren't you?" he said, "Yup!" "And you're a Natural too?" "Yes." He shot a glance at Ash, she shoots at him too, "Okaaay~" I said, things are getting weirder and weirder every single time... "By the way, I'm August, Jordan's boyfriend. You?" "I'm (Y/N), nice to meet you, August." Jordan's boyfriend, aww, so sweet! He seemed nice, but about that staring contest that August and Ash made, it's just... weird... and intense...

"O-okay! We didn't c-call you here for K-Karaoke, this is a contest. The g-game mechanics are, um, August?" "Oh right! This is a contest by a pair, in order to win, the judges are--"

"OH DAHLINGS~~~~!" A robot just came blasted out of the wall, pieces of the fake broken wall flew in the air, I widened my eyes, Ash did too. "Yes, dear, I'm going to be the judge for this contest to make this exciting!" "Okay then, he will be the judge, and Jordan and I are joining with you guys, the judge will do the team picking, so?" "Hmm, Abigail and Leila, you two are teamed." he said, "Ash and you teamed, ok?" great... "Jonas and Luke then Jordan and August. Rock paper scissors to see who's first." Jonas and Luke are first, right... and we're the exact last... "All right, you punks, the twist is that you will sing a random song, and Jordie and I are gonna win!" August laughs, "KYAH HAH HAH! DON'T GET TOO COCKY, AUGUST, I, THE INCREDIBLE LEILA AND THE NATURAL WILL ABSOLUTELY WIN!" "Pffft, winning this not important. hehe "

I looked at Ash and she's sweating for any reason, "Ash, you okay in there?" I asked, "nah, i'm fine! nothins' botherin' me." I shot a 'seriously' face at her, she just shrugged.

'Let's give it up for Jonas and Luke!' they walked up the stage, "Hey everybody! This is the time that you will all lose! Hey, Luke, Luke!" I could nearly hear Jonas whispering something to the other boy, I could hear him saying like 'Win the girl', like what seriously? He pointed his finger at Ash, and they got their microphones and the machine picked a song.
