Chapter 17: A Friend for a While ago...

(Your POV)

A light twinkled in the darkness, I tried to grasp it... and--

I entered in the same battle scene with Hanna, and a new button appeared to me, it is called SAVE, I pressed it, then, options appeared in the text box, "August!" I called out it's name. In a flash, August was standing there, with his face glitched, I pressed ACT, and pressed *Grin, "Your existence.. is a crime!" My soul turned green and a sword appeared in my sight, I blocked the attacks, I did the same thing to the other ACT-s, "You're nothing but a weakling!" and the same attacks too, I did ACT for the last time, then suddenly, "Natural! You're my only friend! You have that strong Passion inside of you!" I did the same to the other Legends, until I am down to Ash, "there's no hope for you now..." the attacks are quite intense much, "there nothing much left, kid..." then her attacks became weak, "It's ice to myth you, Ash!" then suddenly, "i'm root-ing for you, snowflake..." 

Then Hanna's attacks are weakened, like really. "Stop this! I don't need anyone!" I avoided all her attacks, then it happens to disappear, good thing my soul comes in handy. "STOP AND LET ME WIN!!!" A blast of light came from Hanna hands, getting stronger and stronger, I kept holding on, never letting go... 

"I'm so afraid..." "I'm so alone..." "...I"

Then, it revealed a crying child, in her striped clothes and her short golden curled locks again, "I'm so sorry..." She stopped crying, then she looked at me with her teary brown eyes, "Greetings! I'm always a crybaby, wasn't I?" "Hmm, not really..." "Hmm, and also, may I... know know your name? Well, she's been gone for a very long time... now..." "I-I'm... (Y/N)... nice to meet you..." "... (Y/N)? That's... a--, a nice name... well, you already know me, right? You can just call me, Hanna. (Y/N), I haven't felt like this for a long time. My life as a ghost, empty and soulless, I lacked the power to love everyone... But, with these souls inside me, not only my compassion is regained, but additionally, I can feel other Legends' feelings too." I simply nodded, a small nod, "They care about each other, so much. And... they care about you, (Y/N)... including your sister, Abigail..." She smiled, but when she said my sister's name, did she... really know her? "Umm, do you really know my sister?" I asked, "Hmm, oh.. umm..." "It's fine if you can't really answer me, and... do you have anything to say?" I said, "I wish I could tell you, how they all feel about you... Leila... Ash... August... Jordan... L.A.... and.. Calvin... You know, Legends are weird, even though they barely know you, then it all feels like they already love you. Ahahaha..." She even managed to give me a nice and cute smile, with her sparkly brown eyes, "I'm... forgiving you, for now..." I said, "Wh-What? (Y/N), haha, you're... gonna make me cry again... hehe... Besides, I can't keep those souls inside of me, the least I can do is release them. It's time! Now, their souls are all beating as one. Everybody has the same desire, with the same power, and spirit! It's time for Legends, to finally go free!"

She then releases all the souls, the barrier breaking apart... It's working! 

After all that happened, "I have to go now, without these souls, I can't keep maintaining this form. For a little while, I'll turn back into a ghost... I'll stop being 'myself', and I'll stop being able to feel love again. So... (Y/N), please... go be with the people you love... okay? It's best if you forget about me, alright?" I thought for a moment, and I walked up to her and hugged her, just for comfort... I started to tear up, I tried holding back my tears, but... I... just can't, I ended up, sobbing... "Ha...ha..ha... *sniff*" I chuckled through the tears, I un-hugged her, "Also, (Y/N)! Be careful on the Surface, okay?" She told me, "I will! I promise!" I waved a hand, she waved too, and started walking away...
