Percabeth meet once again

Annabeth pov
I was sipping my iced coffee , waiting for my flight to Australia when I gradually started to think about my childhood. I've always felt ready to do this  , ready to travel around the world ,to feel free as if nothing is holding me back ; no responsibilities nor expectations. And I couldn't  believe I was actually doing it !

"Call for passengers on flight 0603 . The gates are now open . Passengers for flight 0603 are now allowed to board "
I started to walk towards the gates unconsciously smiling to myself . I had packed everything that I would need in a new country as well as bunch of books for the flight .

The plane was empty. I tried to find my seat number 333a . I had chosen a window seat because of the gorgeous views outside. It was towards the back of the airplane . I put all my hand luggage under my seat and was about to sit down when I needed to go to the toilet so I made my way to the bathroom.

It was a small cubicle with a dirty mirror above a tiny black sink and a black toilet. As I flushed , I suddenly jerked back only to bash my head on the door . It happens every-time I thought to myself . After I washed my hands I looks at myself in the mirror,my hair was in a messy ponytail with strands of blonde hair that framed  my face . I had no makeup on and I liked it that way . I looked at my dry lips and put some lip balm on them . I was wearing sea printed yoga pants with a thin cropped grey jumper that slipped off one shoulder . Grey. Grey was my favourite colour not to mention the colour of my eyes . I loved my them but always wanted sea green eyes .

I was making my way to my seat when I saw some guy in it

Percys pov
"Um excuse me..."
I looked up to see the most stunning woman I've ever seen ( well in real life 😏)
From her facial expression she looked annoyed . Due to this I quickly snapped out of my trance .
"Yes!" I said too excitedly .Wow I thought to myself, great way to scare someone.
"That's my seat ." she snapped but her facial expression softened .
"Ohhh sorry..." I said whilst moving my hand luggage under the seat next to me . I moved to my actual seat . She started to walk in front of me to her seat and she tripped over my leg! AMAZING!! Why did my legs have to be so long . I immediately apologised ,she nodded approvingly and sat down .

Annabeth pov
He was gorgeous !! His stunning green eyes with blue swirls in them , his scruffy raven black hair , his defined jaw and his lopsided grin that made butterflies wiz around in my stomach . No...! I had to keep a straight face and luckily that was one of my talents . I didn't want what happens last time to happen again .

I opened one of my favourite books "the alchemist " and started to read . It's one of those books that you don't get tired of reading over and over . I was doing exactly what the main protagonist did : following my dreams . My favourite part is wh...
"Ooo the Michaels .I love that book ." the guy interrupted. I was annoyed that he stopped my thoughts but that lopsided grin melted all of it .

Percys pov
I really wanted to start a conversation with her  ,I knew I would probably have to talk to her,  I couldn't not talk for 36 hours ,I knew that I would regret not starting a conversation sooner...Sometimes I wish my mind would stop rambling on but what can I expect if my body does the same with the ADHD  . I was tapping my fingers against my thighs ,looking around when the girl or should I say woman took out a book . Thank god my sister read it and couldn't stop talking about it .
"Ooo the Michaels. I love that book ." I said matter- a -factly. She didn't buy it.
"Oh you do ??!! And here I thought you couldn't read ." She said with a little giggle . Awww man that was cute...then i realised the mess I just made . I fUcKiNg HaTe My dYsLeXiA!!! I started to scratch the back of my neck (something I do when I get nervous) and for some reason blush.
"Aha sorry 'bout that , I kinda am dyslexic " I said trying not to be awkward.

Annabeth pov
I didn't even know this guy but I felt like I did , he reminded me of someone. I wanted to have a conversation with him but didn't know how to start.
"It's alright , I'm dyslexic too ." I said with a smile .
"I hate being dyslexic it's one of the most annoying things to have ." He said with a laugh " I'm Percy." He extended his right hand gesturing me to shake it .
"I'm Annabeth." I said returning the gesture ."So how come your going to Australia. I will spend a year there and then come back here for my final two years of university before doing something else I guess. " I said laughing at the end .
" oh I've finished uni and want to travel . First stop Australia. I do want to live there too but I'm not sure right now " he said in a calming yet sweet voice .

As the plane lifted off we carried on talking about our universities and what we want to do later on in life . I found out that Percy was two years older that me , 23 . I said that I wanted to build buildings that supported the costal environment and reduced the amount of Co2 in the atmosphere. Percy then talked about how he wanted to be a marine biologist and study coral reefs . Even though we both had different ideas ,the outcomes for both were the same: save the planet .

Percys pov
I couldn't believe that annabeth and my jobs could have similar outcomes and that we had the same dreams . It was great talking to someone who knew the facts .
"So where are you from in the uk?" Annabeth asked curiously.
"Well I don't know if you would have heard of it but it's a little city called Leicester ."
"NO WAY! I'm from there too. Whereabouts in Leicester?"
"Oh in Jersey ,you?"
"Shut up SAME!"
"What school did you go to ?" I asked still shocked that we lived in the same area .
"Goode high school. Do y..." I cut her off .

Annabeth pov.

"What the actual fuck !" He said surprised
"We went to the same school . I can't remember you though. " he said whilst his eyebrows furrowed. The cutest face in all mankind . Snap out of it Annie!!!
" I don't remember you either though you do seem really familiar. " I said trying not to blush since we were pretty close to each other , our faces inches apart . I pulled back awkwardly even though I tried not to be awkward about it . He did the same and then scratched the back of his neck before saying
"I have a younger cousin who is basically like my sister who was also in your year/grade , her name is Thalia "
"Thalia's your cousin  !!" I was shocked . I knew Thalia ." She used to be my best friend when we were like 10 but we slowly started to drift apart ." I said trying to hide my guilt , I looked down at the floor . He lifted my chin so that I looked directly in his eyes . Those eyes were so familiar ...
