The twins opened the door to find a dark staircase leading to a hidden room of some sort. They tiptoed down it, shutting the door before they left. At the bottom they stopped, right before they entered the room. They heard someone speaking.
"It's almost done, girl. Almost done." It was Grunkle Stan's voice. Dipper couldn't help but gasp.
"Who's there?!" Grunkle Stan shouted, looking towards the staircase. Dipper breathed deeply, and then stepped out of he shadows.
"Dipper! Get back to your room!" Stan growled.
"N-no, Grunkle Stan! Not with you sneaking around behind our backs!" Dipper gasped at the huge machine.
"THAT SEEMS LIKE A PRETTY BIG SECRET, DONT YOU THINK?!" Dipper shouted angrily, pointing to the enormous contraption.
"... I suppose I have to tell you everything now." Stan sighed.
