Stars littered across the endless sea of sky
Small specks of light, thousands of miles away
Yet ever so bright
So bright to be seen on Earth with the naked eye
With no trouble whatsoever
It was night out
A group of friends hanging out together in the middle of nowhere
Enjoying themselves
A shooting star fell across the sky
Legend has it, that if you wish upon it, it'll come true
But it won't work if you say your wish out loud
Because sometimes your words contradict your heart
No, you don't speak your wish
You don't even have to know your wish
The star knows
