❝ Don't wanna be without you. My judgment's clouded. Like tonight's sky. Hands are silent, voice's numb, try to scream out my lungs. It makes this harder. And the tears stream down my face ❞ — Moments, One Direction

"So, how do you feel? Are you confident than before?"
Changmin slides an acceptance letter for the nursing program across the table.
A smile takes over his face, one where there's a small dimple poking out on his left cheek.
Youngjae smiles endearingly.
He wonders what did he ever do to deserve such a person who wants to look after him although he makes him confused and upset too, that's love, right?
Wait-he likes Changmin?
That couldn't be, could it?
Youngjae is going insane and overthinking again. It's nothing but the genuine affection called friendship he felt all over his mind, body, soul all at the same time the brunette caught his heart on fire.
He wants to kiss him hard, long, and passionately, feel him, hear him call his name, be the reason why he smiles or laughs courses through his veins, the heat in his cheeks to raise, and he can't stop looking at him. The ability to resist is killing him because he doesn't know how much longer he can wait, he wants him so bad but something is holding him back and in his way.
He also wants to be there for him, with him, for them to be together. It can't be love, he knew that but deep inside he knew he was falling for him more and more.
The glimmer in both of the boys' eyes sparkles from the afternoon sunlight spilling out through the window in Crescent Moon Noodle Shop.
Youngjae's thoughts cease as he remembers Changmin is literally in front of him, "Do you have more confidence now?" Changmin says, a cute smile playing on his lips.
"Yeah. Isn't that me on the cover and who's the secondary boy?"
"It's you. I took your work to your professor and got you placed in the nurse training program."
"But why would I call myself secondary male?" his voice fades away into emptiness.
Youngjae refrains from thinking negative, expecting Changmin would change his mind.
He doesn't.
The gentle laugh and smile don't lighten the situation either but he smiles back anyway.
Turning his attention to Kevin's mother serving them the noodle dishes, both of them thank her. "Miss Moon, did you forget? I have my noodles with soup." Changmin reminds her.
