❝ Can someone stop time for a moment? I feel like something has gone wrong. I tried to laugh awkwardly but now I'm sorry I treated myself like that. No, don't tell me that it's okay. Don't know what to do without you. I'm staying here alone in this petty place. The memories I draw of you are blue. ❞ — Don't  Know What To Do, BlackPink

"You don't like me?" Youngjae inquires, tone shakey, holding a strong sense of sadness and fear, almost as if he's asking the question himself.

Of course, he wasn't expecting this answer from him, after all, everything that happened between them meant something to the wolf boy, at least.

From Changmin swimming to save his life, dancing with him so he wouldn't look dejected or abandoned. Protecting him from any sort of danger, wanting to be there for him, making sure he's safe and happy, his concern for him . . . did it all mean nothing?

The question wraps around his head, slowly echoing before fading away. When he realizes his feelings for the brunette are still there, heart pounding like a drum loudly despite now standing across him, hearing harsh words, he thinks it's obviously onesided as he holds his gaze.

He wonders how did he ever fall for such a try-hard who lies other than how his affection ignites a fire in his chocolate eyes, melts snow residing in his heart, blooms a warm smile across his face.

Showers rain on him like it's sprinkling fairy dust called hope.

He realizes again it's because when you love someone you love someone and pain weaves along, but those four words stabbed him right in the heart more than he thought would have.

He can feel tears cloud his vision as he registers the same words, the intense kiss, and how the brunette didn't let go, even after attempting to stop him, but he could've with his strength; firm hands pushed him by the chest, startling him.

Changmin wants to look away but he can't. If he looks away, he knows he's running away but in the end, he runs away anyway, ending their conversation with a desperate voice, pleading Youngjae, hands flying around.

"I don't like you, Son Youngjae. Right now, I just want to get some sleep. I'm asking you kindly, please leave me alone, okay?" Then, he rushes off and comes back instantly. He glares at Youngjae throwing an equal one, brows frowning.

Youngjae ignores the throbbing in his legs because he kicked the table's leg and gripped his pant legs, totally aware he grew claws too before huffing, knowing the stinging pain will grow, answering Changmin, "I want you to help me pursue Lee Jaehyun."
