"I'm sorry." I said and lower my head. I fix my hood as a continue walking. I tighten my hold in the plastic that contains beer in my right hand while the other is inside of my jacket's pocket. I felt the cold breeze of New York City and see the busy people that buying gives for their loves one.
"Mom, I want new pair of clothes." I heard the seven-year-old girl says when I passed by them. I stopped for a moment and tilted my head to look at them.
"Daddy will buy that for you baby." Her mom said. And the girl jumps in excitement. She's lucky to have her parents. The noise that keeps coming from the huge screen of New York Time Square and from each building. The people start to gather when they heard the twenty seconds countdown.
"Are you ready citizens of New York?" the sounds of a DJ in front of the Time Square echoed in the whole place. The crowd cheers and starts counting too.
"three"
"two"
"one" I smiled when I saw the fireworks display starts. It's wonderful.
"Happy New Year" the crowd shouted in the same time. I turned my back and leave the place to celebrate the New Year's Eve alone. I felt someone bumped my shoulder but I didn't bother to apologize and left the place.
