Prying Eyes
Hiding behind a mask
Not sure what to do
I'm trying to hide my secret
From prying eyes like you
But my shielding mask has holes
Like anything man-made
Flaws and dents and imperfection
Ruining my facade
The longer days go on
The holes get deeper and deeper
The lies I have constructed
Forever getting steeper
Still hiding behind my mask
But not quite sure what to do
Maybe one day I'll expose myself
To prying eyes like you
For now I'll just find shelter
Behind my little mask
Resulting in less questions
Your prying eyes will ask
