Josh's P.O.V

Life is a moment to treasure, to take advantage of what we have. If life was a book I've only experienced a handful of pages, for every page I turn a new chapter begins. A fresh start to a new begining where endless opertunities lie to take a hold of and to charish. When were young nothing should stop us, the world is our playground. People will come and go in my life, but the one thing I'm sure of is that everything that's going on in my life right now feels good.

I swear I've never been this happy in my entire life. Every thing just seams so complete. I look over at Jenn who's walking a long side of me. She's looking around at all the wildlife that pases by everyonce in a while. I just examine her picturist face as it glows in the sun, her cute dimpils when she smiles. I can't help myself from wanting to turn her around and kiss her. But the truth is if I do I could lose her. I keep on reflecting on the words Jenn had spoken earlier.

"We love people for who they are. For thier flaws, their personality and how they choose to live thier life." Her words are so real, so true that everyone should reflect opon them. I take another look at Jennifer and her words humm in my head, but there's one thing I know about Jennifer that she told me. Only I bet she never knew her words would affect me so much. "A perfect person to me. Is someone who we except as a human being, and most importantly someone who we charish, care and love." Jenn is perfect to me.

"Hey you guy's look!" Mia points to a neaby baby fawn drinking form a spring water stream.

"Awww, that's so cute." Jenn looks in awe and then starts to climb up the slope to the dear. I wonder what she's going to do? My mom told me dear can be aggresive if they had to.

" Hey Jenn, what are you doing?" I call out waving to her. She's now about six feet away from the fawn, when she pulls out a couple of peanuts from her pocket. I look over at Liam with a comfused look, he just starts to chuckle.

"Josh it's ok, Jennifer is amazing with animals." He pats my shoulder and I look back up the slope.

"It's ok, I won't hurt you,I have some food for you." Jenn opens her palm and reveils the nuts. The baby fawn steps back at first but them leans foward and starts to nibble away at the peanuts. Jenn mumbles soothing words to the deer and it just continues to finsh the rest of the peanuts. Wow Jenn is amazing with animals. She's so kind and gentle. Jenn walks back down the slope carefully and the deer slowly starts to walk back into the dence forest.

"Jenn you've got a real gift." I say to her smiling. She blushes a bit then looks up at me.

"Not really, I mean anyone could do that." Jenn mutter's. We start heading down the path inching closer to the campsite.

"Well on the otherhand, you would scare off game in a two mile radius." Jennifer looks down at my feet. Why is she staring at my feet?

"Your footsteps are really loud." Jenn exclaims trying to get me to understand. Am I really that loud? Huh guess I never really thought of that.

"Oh sorry." I say embarrest.

"Don't be Josh. After all your the one who said I had a "special talent". Jenn mocks. I just laugh. That's what I like about Jenn, she's easy going and she's fun to be around. We continue down the path chitchating and goofing off, being dumb like normal teenager's. Liam tried to show off when Jenn dared him to walk across a hanging log over the water. He tried balancing on one foot but his foot sliped and he did the splits. We were all just laughing our head's off as Liam stumbled back to us in pain. So 'Liam's little accident' set us back a couple of minutes. Mia decided to call base camp and ask for one of the guy's to ride up the trail in one of the ATV's to give Liam a ride.
