"Have you seen Zion?"

"He's out back in the yard" replied Austin, making a snack in the kitchen before walking up to his room.

It was around 10pm at night, Rhea still hadn't had the chance to properly talk and catch up with Zion. Their relationship lately felt extremely foggy, mainly due to distance but also the fact that Zion's recent welcome home lead to unexpected screaming and fighting.

"Thanks Austin." Rhea smiled, slowly making her way through their large kitchen and towards the yard.

Since the last time she had been round the PRETTYMUCH house, Rhea had been at school all day and studying at home. She didn't tell Zion she was coming over but hope assured her that he'd be more than happy to see her, especially since she'd had some good news from her agent- Zion was the first person she wanted to tell.

As she wandered her way into the yard she vaguely sought out a tall figure sat down at the very end of the greenery. The girl smirked to herself slightly as her shoes carried her towards him.

On her journey towards the end of the garden, which she had never actually been in before, her nose picked up an overwhelming scent of weed. Nostalgia of her mother's old ways flooded back, that scent was bittersweet in some ways, always surrounding Rhea since her adolescence. She quickly shook her head at the thoughts, her mother wasn't like that anymore.

"Zion," Rhea spoke. She found Zion sitting on the patio at the very edge of the garden. Knees close to his chest as he rested himself on the small staircase.

"Hey," Zion mumbled. A small light caught Rheas eyes as Zion lifted a joint between his lips, that's where the smell had come from earlier. He inhaled nonchalantly, barely paying mind to Rhea.

"Oh," Her voice barely uttered. Zion glared at her for a short moment, he thought she looked disappointed.

"I didn't know you smoked." Rhea stated slowly. She sat down beside him hoping that breaking distance between them would somehow makeup for Zion's lack of attention at the moment, he didn't seem excited nor interested she was here. Maybe she was overthinking it?

Her statement was more of a question, she wasn't concerned about what he did as long as he was sensible. Although questions arose as to why she didn't even know that, surely something like that would come up in conversation? Or maybe it was a one time thing? As much as she desired to shake it, this foreign feeling that the two were becoming more and more distant stayed heavy in her mind.

Zion turned his head towards Rhea, regaining the eye contact he lost earlier. "Yeah" he widened his slightly reddened eyes sarcastically, "it's not gonna kill me Ray." He replied sardonically and somewhat irritated.

Rhea furrowed her eyebrows, "I know?" She looked him up and down. Why was he acting so condescending? "I was just saying, I thought it would be something I'd already know."

Zion averted his gaze from her, leaning his head up to the sky, it was dark now. "What? Cos I'm you're boyfriend you have to know everything about me?" He slightly slurred his words, breathing out the thick smoke as it dissipated into the sky.

The girl sat there phased and confused, "I didn't say that. Although, right now that sounds like it would help fix this"

"Fix what?...What's that supposed to mean?"

"It doesn't matter,"

Zion dropped his head from its previous position, exhibiting a concerned look to the girl beside him. "No, what was that supposed to mean?" He pushed.
