Welcome to JACOB'S RIDE, a Nigerian themed novel, kinda with a touch of the Western world.
Writing a story has an amazing feeling. To me, it feels like I have created actual real life characters somewhere, and any feeling I make them have or any way I make them behave or turn out, is more very real, though fictional.
I don't whether I should say this, but I'm not too sound in the usage of vocabularies, which in one way or the other, makes a story look good. I'm learning more everyday. Please, bear. *smiles* Some of the new ones I just learnt today are:
1. Accede – Agree
2. Accost – To approach and speak to a person
3. Accoutre – Equip
4 . Acerbity – Bitterness of speech and temper
5. Acme – TopYes, I've challenged myself to start from the beginning of my vocabulary learning app and revise it accordingly, which explains the occurrence of only 'Ac' words. Feel free to send me a message for the vocabulary app's name. I recommend it to you. It's one of the best!
So now, I'd be like – “Mummy please, I don't accede to eating Henry's fried rice. I'd rather drink garri for dinner!” 😂
Please, help me vote, comment and share with family and friends.
Premiered: 23rd of August, 2020. Coincidentally, a close friend's birthday! I wish him long life!
Book cover designed by me. I'd love make yours if you wish.
Enjoy! Updating weekly.
