______________________________________________________________________When I opened my eyes I was lying on something hard or at least harder than the bad I had been falling asleep in. The ceiling was white, so were the walls with wooden doors and windows covered with thin paper...wait shouldn't it be glass? It looked like the room built in ancient China. I recognized a short table and two elegant cups for tea.
Suddenly someone walked in.
-Wei WuXian, must I always waking you up? Can't you stay well-behaved for a day?!- It was Jing Cheng. He wore a white ancient robe I saw a few times while searching some videos on YouTube for my history homework. It was from the period when China was separated into different sects. I stood up or I was going to do that, but my body didn't seem to care about my decision. Instead, I moved my mouth.
-Don't want to.- I said and smiled. It was this type of smile that Jiang Cheng always finds irritating no matter the time, age or circumstances.
So it was another dream I had no control over. Whatever. I'll just observe. Hopefully, nothing bad will happen.
-Wei Ying! We have a lesson with QiRen and we are late already. If you are not going, I will go without you! I will wait for 5 minutes. Better don't be late, if you don't want to be punished again.
He left. Well, he has never been patient one, even in my dream it is unchangeable.
The me from the dream was really like me. I mean, he has been smiling nonstop, irritating Jiang Cheng and making troubles.
Of course, my preparations lasted longer than 5 minutes and of course, Jiang Cheng didn't leave even he said he would. Well, he pretends not to care but I know he does. I walked with him to another, much bigger, ancient, white room. there were a lot of short tables and only two were not occupied. Next to every other wooden desk young men, one to each, were sitting in silence, while an old men in front of them was speaking. He stopped when we walked into the, I think it can be called, a classroom. All eyes turned to us. Okay. Not all. One person hasn't changed his position even if I walked inside smiling widely and cunningly. I thought I knew what comes next.
-Wei WuXian, You! Again!
Here we go. I couldn't find the mutual language with my history teacher even in my dream. How nice. I mentally felt really weird. It was so similar to the reality, yet I seemed so different. Like a memory from the past life. Well my imagination was going wild.
I sat on my place, so did my brother. The lecturer continued. But I was born for searching for troubles, wasn't I. Not many seconds passed when I became restless. I started writing something on a little paper human I hid behind my white-blue belt which was a part of snowy white hanfu I was wearing. I was doing it under the table and when I ended scribbling on it, it came to live. I was shocked because it looked like magic for me, but me from the dream didn't find it strange at all. The little paper person flew unnoticeable to the person who was the only one who did not lost composure or turned around when I came late. It sat on his head. I was manipulating it somehow. I looked at that person from the corner of my eye.
Wow. He was truly handsome. His black, silky hair were tied into a bun leaving a half of it loose. The bun itself was decorated by silver hairpin or so it looked for me. He was sitting in a perfect lotos position, calm and serious. He was so glamorous sitting like that. And...his profile seemed a little familiar to me. Was it someone I know? But what seemed strange for me was, that he had a white hafted hairband with the silver meticulously crafted cloud in the middle of it on his forehead. And the paper person my dream-twin sent was aiming surely for it. He jumped on the head and tried to pulled it once. I saw a little movement made by his eyebrow, merely noticeable but still. He must have been frustrated inside. The paper human started playing with this white string of material. He was pulling it up, and then down, up and down again. The owner of the hairband was trying hard not to lose his composure but once it was pulled really strongly he took a paper barbarian and turned it into the dust using some power in his right hand. He stood up and said through his teeth only two words.
