"Eh? I can't understand any of these."

You tapped your pen in frustration. You have a Math report due the other day, but you can't seem to understand it.

I hate statistics! You thought. I doubt Kotaro will be helpful.

You sighed. You picked up your phone and contacted some of your smart friends, but all of them were busy.

The next day in Math class, your teacher reminded you about your report tomorrow.

"Y-Yes ma'am." You said nervously in front of the class. The teacher left as the bell rang. You sat with a sigh.

"You seem off." Your seatmate, Akaashi, said.

"I haven't started my report yet. I couldn't understand anything." You responded.

"What's your topic?" He asked.

"Statistics."

Akaashi paused for a second with a thinking face.

"I'll help you." He said.

"Really? Thank you so much." You said cheerily, "But I forgot my books at home. hehehe."

"Then let's do it in your house if it's okay."

"It's okay. I'll tell Kotaro."

...

In the art room, where your art club is held, you were having club activities. You were painting the subject, which is a bowl of fruits.

"Are you available tonight, (yn)?" Your fellow clubmate and friend, Emika, asked. Her spot was next to you. "The girls and I are going to the mall."

You replied, "No. I have to do my math report for tomorrow."

"Math? Isn't that your weak subject?"

"Yeah, but Akaashi offered to help me." You answered as you stroke the brush to the canvas.

Emika paused and hummed.

"You and Akaashi had been hanging out lately." Emika said while painting, "Are you dating?"

The question made you shocked. You paused on painting and had a what-are-you-talking-about look.

"Eh? Me and Akaashi are just friends." You nervously said.

"Oh. I thought you guys were having a date at the gallery last weekend." Emiko said.

"Y-You saw us?"

Emiko looked at you with a smile, "Yes, and you look sweet."

You can feel your blood rushing to your face. Akaashi considered it as a date, was it a date? You thought.

"Bye. We'll head this way now." You said as you waved goodbye to the team. You, Bokuto, and Akaashi were heading to your house.

You were in the middle as you were walking.

"I'm so happy Akaashi can hang out with us," Bokuto spoke.
