Chapter 6

Low key bored because I don't really have the motive to write anymore but I'm working on continuing this book because my guts still like writing.

Haru POV

"Senpai, it'll be all okay" Kemei told me

"But this is an inquiry" I answer

"The incident was what it was. But this is probably just a formality, right?" Teppei say

"That's right!" Mahoro told me

"Have a Tienguanyin Gummy! I had these sent all the way from Fujian Province! I heard that it bring in good luck" Mahoro say and giving me one

- Tieguanyin is a variety of Chinese oolong tea that originated in the 19th century in Anxi in Fujian province.

I look at it weirdly and just ate it as quick as possible. And had an slap at my back from Teppei

"Please cheer up!" Mahoro told me

"Because we did what we could!" Teppei say

"That's right. We did something that first division couldn't even do!" Kemai told me with a thumbs up.

"Thank, everyone" I smile a little bit with Kambe staring at me

I hear the door open and one of the guys say "enter"

As me and the rest of the group went in we all just stay quiet.

"Now, you caused immense chaos during the investigation process and on top of that, you allowed the suspect to die, and the truth remain shrouded in mystery. First of all, we must clarify where the responsibility lies in this case. Depending on the situation, it might not end with a simple pay cut. Anything to say? "

Teppei rise his hand, "we were taking a break as inspector Kato instructed!"

'eh?'

"We were!" Mahoro rise her hand

"I tried to stop him. I was ordered by inspector Kato,  with me! So I had no choice." Kemei say with a sad face.

'ehh!? Nani!'

"Well, it's true that I said that, but..." I answer

"inspector Kato, refrain from arbitrary comments."

'eh. So whatever they told me was a lie"

"It's true that we allowed the suspect to die, but we did save the president life."

"That was the result of officer saeki communicating with the embassy old janitor, no? You have nothing to do with it"

"You can explain to them, too" I told Kambe

"Explain what? I was off duty, and I wasn't involved with the mission."

"That is all. Punishment for inspector Kato will be relayed at a later time"

We walk out of and went back to our office.

I sat down and lay down

"All of you are so heartless"  I told them

"Sorry!"

"Don't worry!"

The phone ring and I pick it up

"Hello, modern crimes"

"I'm going to hang out for a bit." Chosuke say and left

"Yes. Understood" I told the person on the phone and ended it

"There was a fight in the subway."

"I pass!" Everyone say

"Ahh. All right, fine" I told them
